When MaritzCX calls.....

I don't have too many MSC numbers in my phone, but I do have MartizCX. When they call, especially at the end of a month, I am always happy to answer. smiling smiley $$

I never turf their calls, even though I know right now that most of the calls are for a client I don't want to do. Everyone has their price.

Seriously, nobody cares that you're offended.
One called me yesterday and has a shop an hours drive,75 mph highway drive. She said she didn't know if there was a bonus on the shop that I would need to look on the site. Well, if I was a scheduler I don't know if I would still work that job if I had to call people and ask them to do a mystery shop AND an announced audit for $12.50 an hour drive away. I guess some of them are allowed to mention the bonus and some are not? Since I couldn't say "Hell NO!!!!!" because, well, that's just rude, well, I don't know I was working and it was almost a 14 minute call with zero result and I will probably not answer their calls anymore and just let it go to voicemail.
I got a call yesterday for several shops as well.

I get calls too. But, when I've looked at the shops online, their shopping windows don't leave much for putting together a route. A lot of them only have a 2 day shopping window to choose from. If they could lengthen the window to say, 5 days, it allows me to plan.
Otherwise, I just pass them by to the day of my route. Then, if I can fit it in, I'll self-assign. Reminds me of the old company CORI.

When MaritzCX needs a job done, they will ask you to make an offer and work with you. My call yesterday: Bank inquiry listed online at $9.50 - no incentive listed - needing to be done no later that Friday.

Well, I work full time and the location is about two hours away, so I am not physically able to meet those restrictions. Moreover, I had no other shops in the area (it's pretty remote and requires a ferry). They offered a $150.00 incentive. I am free to pick up shops along the way for other companies, if I so desire. Or, I can enjoy a beautiful drive with my wife and walk away with $120 in profit (after gas and ferry). I had a similar situation with a longer driver and a more expensive ferry last summer for a $250 bonus. I didn't have to beg. I simply mapped it out on my laptop as I was talking to them and told the the truth about the trip. They said they understood and asked what it would take to get me to do it anyhow. I gave them a number. They accepted.

If you do good work for MaritzCX and are very reliable, they will work with you to make their hard-to-fill jobs worth your while. If I see them on my caller ID, I answer if at all possible.

Well, an incentive like that is a "no-brainer"!

I believe I have a very good shopper rating for Maritz. I do the shops when they're scheduled and have never, ever "flaked". I've accepted shops that they put a small incentive on. But, never, have I seen, been offered or asked for a $150 incentive.
Oh, I've asked for $20 and $30 more for a shop (single shop app 50 miles away). They didn't bite and the shop remained there. It was not taken.
IMO, where I am, there are not so many "hard to fill" shops. Whatever. i have my own monthly goal for shops. Right now I'm a few shops away from achieving the goal. A week and half of the month left and I'm good.

And that's the key. They called me earlier this week, countering an offer. I told them exactly why I'd put in [x]. She said she appreciated the honesty and would meet my price.

I have two shops for them that were due earlier today that I couldn't get too water line broke in the apartment that we rent out been cleaning that up all morning. Opps banks are closed now. I did send them an email about that.
Their calls are useless to me, they only would say to look at their website. Then I go and look at their shop fees and they are way too low. Seems like the company would spend money better by reducing number of schedulers who call and using that money to pay better to shoppers, so those shops would be taken because the pay is good.
Maritz scheduler in my area once lied to me about the shop requirements and another time was unprofessional on the phone, and since then I stopped even answering their calls. It took them several months to stop calling me. It is useless IMO, I can go and look at the website myself and all I see are under-priced shops nobody wants to do
