HS Brands rating ...

A few months ago, I messed up. Canceled two shops in a row with HS Brands. Personal stuff outside of my control but I know I screwed up. Before, I had great ratings. Never missed a shop or had an issues. Really love working for that company. Nice schedulers, fun shops.

Now, my rating is stuck at 7 - which limits my ability to get shops, I'm sure. I've done several shops for them since, gotten 9s or 10s, but my overall rating won't go up.

Am I worrying about nothing? Will I ever get a chance to redeem myself?

I've been there with another MSC, though not my fault, i got a low mark....I stopped working for them (by choice) for a couple years after a good relationship, but a bad Editor. Recently i got tired (like you) of remembering that experience, and took a small job, got a 9 and was reinstated. Time is a good healer, stick in there.

It's a simple average. You need more 9's and 10's to get back in the game.

Total of all scores/#shops = average score.

Average Score is 7

Add one more 9 or 10, the average score is up to 8.

Are you still be assigned shops for them? Are you getting paid? A 1 or less will always figure into your score until you can have them "knock" off. Continue to shop for them to prove yourself. Maybe within time you can show them otherwise. If you have to cancel another shop, try to see if it can be reschedule. And if personal stuff need to be verified, show it. Most MSCs have a human factor.

Have done 10 shops for them in the last 3 years have a rating of 8 two shops I had to cancel because I could not get to them in the time allowed because of my job requiring me to be away on assignment. I haven't done that job in the last 2 years due to having a heart attack and winding up on the Sick, Lame, or Lazy list.

Thanks for all your advice and kind words! I really appreciate it everybody. (They are still assigning me the occasional shop so I guess I can only go up!)
