Intellishop

Last week I shopped a retail store for intelli. Four days later someone e-mailed me to say I receive 10/10, I'm a great shopper because I followed guidelines. That made my day plus made me laugh. When my kiddies were in Kindergarten they were rated on following guidelines. Now to await payment.

You can buy on clearance for the online shops, dawn. It's the instore shops that you have to buy regular retail price, but I think with those you can use coupons. That online shop was sooo easy.
Does anyone know if you can buy shoes for your SO for the online shop if they are with you to pick them up? I saw in the guidelines you could order for children as long as they were with you for pick up. I emailed my scheduler, just wanted to check here as well (you all may have the answer quicker). smiling smiley
Update.....heard from the scheduler and the answer was, "it should be OK". I'm not risking reimbursement on a "should" LOL It's OK, I can always use new shoes tongue sticking out smiley

If we're talking about the same shop, the 'Comments' clearly state to not purchase clearance items.

Very infrequently shopping the Greater Denver Area, Colorado Springs and in-between in Colorado these days.
I just checked my guidelines again for my online/instore shop today, and Tarantado is correct, it does say no clearance items.
They must have just added them, because I just looked at my shop log (I am still able to view the comments) and they definitely do not state that for the shops I completed (two of them).
Well, the client currently has a BOGO 1/2 clearance items....maybe that's why they aren't allowing it right now?
Could be. I know that for the instore shops they never allowed clearance.

I might have to checkout some BOGO clearance items. They had some cute boots I liked (online). I hate buying most shoes online unless it's a brand/style I already own, because I like to try them on first.

I am the same way!! I saw a cute pair today that I almost got, but I have never worn the brand. Ended up getting a pair of Fergie's (LOVE her shoes)
So what are your favorite companies? I've done Market Force and A-Closer-Look mostly. I'm looking to add another company that may have some good shops. (I'm not a fast food lover, so that limits me sometimes.)
I've never noticed Fergie's, I will have to check them out. I got some more Minnetonka sandals. They are SO comfortable and pretty, and were priced perfectly at $34.99. I have them in black and I got two more pair because I love them so much! I found out a long time ago if you find a pair of shoes you like that are of a timeless style, buy two (or more) pair.
LOL same goes with jeans! This round of shops we aren't allowed to buy sandals or flip flops either....my options were very limited!

There's a list at the bottom of the page with A LOT of companies. I am signed up with the majority on that list. I work a lot with Business Observations (mostly video/apartment shops), EPMS (apartment shops), and Mercantile. I would recommend downloading the ISS app (iSecretShop), it's a platform with numerous companies and a variety of jobs.
By the way, timing’s perfect for this round. Made this round of shops a money maker!

Amazon may still have their 20% off promo with a max discount of $100 for AMEX. So I bought $400 of Amazon gift cards and a $100 gift card specifically for this shop. Out of pocket, I spent $400 for $400 Amazon gift cards and $100 for these shops.

Stacking the 15% 4th of July coupon, I’m able to squeeze out ~$50 pairs of shoes for each of my 2 shops.

So with my $70 total in reimbursements for the 2 shops, this is how it panned out:

Out of pocket: $400 to convert it to $400 in Amazon gift cards that I’ll be spending normally any ways.

Then I spent my free $100 gift card from the 20% Amazon promo to get back +$70 from these shops.
2% cash back at ebate: +$2
1% cash back from AMEX: +$1

So in the end, I received $73 back, along with 2 x pairs of $50 shoes in exchange for my work, drive and time.

Great deal!!

I successfully did a number of shops for them, as filler, for a number of years. About a year ago, before I had my accident I applied for a shop. I did not receive their notification that they had given me the shop until it was too late for me to do it. When I told them, someone replied harshly that I could have still done the shop in the two hours left that the store was open, so she gave me 1, without any warning. That was the end of it. I deactivated myself and the lady, out of spite, deactivated me also. My shops were all successfully completed and I had had no negative record. It takes one person to ruin one experience. No regrets.
Did this one again today...and almost forgot to do the report...I had done 3 other shops today, finished all of the reports and 4 hours later I'm just doing housework and it hits me, I forgot to do this report. I still had plenty of time, but I would have been pissed if I remembered tomorrow and then lost out on the 35 dollar reimbursemnt, had a pretty expensive charge today, got 2 pairs of work out shoes, they were bogo, but still pretty expensive.

Hi,

I did my first three MS today. Two of them were on second-to-none and one of them was on Intellishop. I basically got a free meal but did not make any money on the Intellishop. I am a little confused how to make money doing MS because I have signed up for over 30 and they are all less than 15 unless I do a bank one.
@ncbetz, hi there, I'm a newer shopper as well, been doing it for about a year and a half.. I do shop both Intellishop and Second to none quite a bit. As far as the money goes, from what I can tell very very very few people are able to do this full time. Just some things I've noticed, video shopping, hotel shopping and apartment shopping bring in alot of money, but for me personally so much is involved with those that I don't think I could do it right. This might be a different story with you. If you are saying you signed up for than than 30 msc's, you need to sign up for more.I signed up for almost every single one that didn't require a narrative, resume or my photo, and instead of the main three I was doing before knowing about this forum, KSS, Intellishop and SecondtoNone, I now have about 15 that I frequent quite a bit, but I would not known about them if I hadn't applied for many many many MSC's. I will also be going through the list again in a few days to find the ones that did require a narrative to add more. One other thing that other shoppers on the site have pointed out is two things that will help is to be willing to drive a bit away from your home location, and sometimes it's worth waiting to see if the shops will get bonused, although that can bite you if another shopper manages to grab it before you do.

@ncbetz
Hello! We all have different approaches. However, if you are hoping to do this full time, you will need to do a few things... You won't want to be primarily doing $10 shops.

* Be willing to travel. My most lucrative days often involve driving 300 miles or more.
* Video. Shorter reports. Higher pay. 'nough said.
* Sign up for LOTS of companies. The world is huge and you will want to find a niche.
* Always do great work. NEVER flake. Your word and your reliability are everything.
* Always be very professional with schedulers and MSC's- even if you feel they are jerks to you. If you don't want to work with one any more, that's fine. Just make sure that it is YOUR choice not do so so.
* Read what folks on this forum have to say. There are several who make decent money (you won't get rich doing this) - but through different approaches.

Good luck!

Hard work builds character and homework is good for your soul.
I've been shopping for them quite a bit.. I mostly do phone shops and they are in my top 3 companies...
When I did those shoe shops where you order online and pick up in the store I bought discounted gift cards on raise and bought the shoes through Swagbucks :-)
