I give up on Customer Service Experts

I did one shop for them in the summer, thought I had done a great job, and they were NOT pleased. Many e-mails, phone calls, etc. They rated me a "6". Ever since I have tried to apply for other jobs to show them I am not the dingbat they evidently think I am (otherwise, why would other companies rate me "10's"?), but they never choose me. That's it. I am writing them and their snootiness off. Aw, that feels good. Has anyone given up with a company before? I know you have. Please tell me why and which ones. Thanks!

Of course there are companies where there is not a good fit. I just don't bother looking for work with STN, Confero and a whole bunch of the SASSIE companies because the pay is low and it seems the personnel turnover is so fast that what they thought was great in the shop two months ago now seems to need multiple emails to get sorted out. Life is too short for that nonsense.
I have not given up on a company yet, but I am about ready to give up on a scheduler. I don't know the rules so I am not going to mention a name or company but I have asked this Scheduler several questions regarding the shop and never get answers. So I just wing it. I always get 10's so it is so far so good. I know I am playing with fire but my rating with this company is PERFECT now with over 10 shops.
So here is a question....
Who do I contact when I have a horrible scheduler? I mean honestly this guy should be fired. I have a feeling he is either really new, or covering his tail very well. For all I know he is rewriting my reports because he will not answer my emails.
57carol,
Do you mean customer Service Experts, located in Annapolis, Maryland?

Based in MD, near DC

Poor customer service? Don't get mad; get video.
You, might go to the BBB,go to consumers, put their name in and see if they have any additional phone numbers.
Got wrong MSC, now that I know its CSE they email me jobs for airports everywhere and the ones I wouldn't do. I wrote them begging them to stop and apply for their mall jobs with no reply. I'm out of sink with them as well.

Live consciously....

Well, CSE is one of my favorites, but I only do their airport shops.... but I have done hundres of those! There has been almost no turnover in scheduling staff in the 3 years I have shopped for them. When I think an editor has gone OTT, I email my scheduler and they bring it up at the next regualr meeting of editors with core staff. They do run a very tight shop when it comes to editing standards, so an 8 from them is more like a 10 from most companies.

I will say this for CSE...they are honest about their requirements. On each narrative intensive shop, they will put a tag-line regarding the client's expectations. I remember one which basically warned that the client is OCD and demands each of the 75 or so questions mentioned in the narrative --Drove me frickin' mad to answer a yes/no, and even if it was Yes, mention it in the narrative --- but that's the client, not CSE, and CSE never hid that like that hyphenated shop company who pays s-l-o-w-l-y, and states every shop is either, EASY!!!, SUPER EASY!!!!, EVEN MY 10 yr old NEPHEW CAN DO THIS ONE !!!
After a few months, I realized the easier they said it was, the longer the narrative.

Oh, CSE pays in record speed time, and the people are nice; I weigh the good against the bad.
