Maritz - any app experience?

Called to speak to somebody about some time-sensitive shops, nobody answers the phone. So I left a message to call me, and have not yet gotten a call. Which brings up the question ... do they only work Monday - Friday? Am I not going to be able to speak to somebody until it is too late?

Does anyone know if anybody on the teams works the weekends?

I know different teams do work different hours, and sometimes it does include weekends, and sometimes they are off. It usually depends on when the period ends for those particular shops. I don't have specifics, as I think it changes.

Have you tried contacting them via FB?

Is there any evidence to suggest that they actually respond there?? That would be awesome.

Seriously, nobody cares that you're offended.
I don't know for sure, but they posted there recently. I figured it wouldn't hurt the OP to try.
They generally do not work on weekends. The best way to contact them about a particular shop is to use the Contact Us button which is available using the Help button on the Home Page. You can leave a direct message using the drop down menu for the shop you have questions about. That message will go directly to the team handling the shop. This will get your quickest response but it likely will not be until Monday.
Nope, no contact until Monday, but I then managed to reach a very helpful person on the team who answered all questions about the new (to me) shop, and fixed all the problems. If only all contacts with a mystery shopping company were so positive!

While I am here, a question about a different area of the same company ... anyone use the mobile app for some shops? Any opinions on how well it works? Anyone want to suggest which shops it works well for, and which it doesn't?

I've tried the mobile app on my Andriod phone. I really don't like it. The flow of the survey is a very different order from what I find easiest. The gas attendant photo is something I take immediately after the reveal, not at the end of the shop, etc. I couldn't seem to skip questions like I could on the website. Drove me nuts.

The app does not let you address holds either, which is strange. It will list the reviewer comments, but you can't change anything on the app.
Also, the app has a very nasty habit of leaving photos out of the report. Plus, there is an upload slot for two pics on almost every question. You don't, of course, need all those pics, according to the guidelines; the report will go through as long as you have the required ones, but a newbie to the app wouldn't know that.
There are shops near me for which they say that the app is NOT recommended, including for the gas-station shops. I'm guessing it would be a nightmare if the app didn't save the photos!

I learn something new every day, but not everyday!
I've learned to never trust spell-check or my phone's auto-fill feature.

I use the app for some assignments, not for others. I find that for the visual shops that it is actually easier (and helps me not forget some pictures). If I am in an area that is more rural it has a tendency to drain my battery. It also takes about 10 minutes longer per assignment in the field, so if I'm doing a large route and/or are pressed for time, it's quicker to knock out the pictures and report it at home later. On the plus side, since the reporting is done as soon as you leave the site, last week I had 14 shops with about 11 hours of working and driving (I reported some on site until I started running short on time) and it was really nice to only have to report 5 additional ones when I got home.
I hated the app at first but I've begun to appreciate it now. It has been reworked pretty extensively I think. What I do wish they would fix is that if I accidentally hit my back button it takes me to my home screen and I have to open up the app and scroll through every question up until the one I was working on. It does take a few more minutes in the field but I am getting spoiled by not having to work when I get home.
I just recently used the app for two gas station audits. I don't like the order in which it is done either. Other than that I liked it. I didn't realize you could take two pictures (thanks for that information). I was glad when I got home that the shops were already done and I could relax, except for inputting the invoice.
