GFK offered me an opportunity to work for free! I feel so honored.

This thread fits in with the, "how much is your time worth?" thread, where most people said their time was invaluable. In any case, I would look at the shadowing an auditor activity as time to make up later, and only if I really wanted the auditing jobs. Sort of like the, "got to spend money to make money." But I think what some people feel, is manipulated. I say trust your gut, if you feel your being manipulated, you probably are. Also, there is nothing wrong with advocating for yourself and what you believe is fair. Others may not feel like it's manipulation, or maybe it makes them think differently about something and that is uncomfortable for them. It's worth bringing up, as I'm sure there are many people who would not agree to do free training, but don't want to say so due to backlash.

i don't think there is anything wrong with that email in particular. knowing what i know about that msc after viewing this forum for years, i just find it amusing. billion foot pole. i did one phone shop for them years back. longest phone report i've ever seen. there were questions inside of questions inside of questions inside of questions inside of questions etc. it never ended.
They used to have the wings client and I did shops for them. It drove me crazy that when you were submitting the report and answered a question, it triggered a new question to open up on the report that wasn't there before. And if you printed the printable form, all the questions showed up, but not all of them pertained to your particular shop (based on takeout or dine in, etc.). It was easier for them but not for the shopper, that's for sure.
I won't ever deal with GfK or recommend them to anyone. They mistreat people, not just shoppers. They treated schedulers horribly. They even tried to send me a "cease and desist" email long ago after I left scheduling; that didn't work out very well for them... LOL

Arguing with fools is like playing chess with a pigeon...
...No matter how good you are, the pigeon will s@^t on the board and strut around like it won anyway.

Not scheduling for ANY company.
