Service Scouts - my first assignment

I searched but couldn't find much info about this msc. I'm scheduled to evaluate at a music concert. Does Service Scout mail me the tickets ahead of time, or do I pick them up at the concert, or do I have to order them myself? Also, how long did the training over the phone last? Thank you.

Can't speak to the specific assignment, but generally you purchase and they reimburse. Email your scheduler to be sure. Training depends on how many people on the conversation. You only have to do it once (unless you screw up a shop); half an hour, maybe.

When I've done their shops ... the tickets are under my name at will call. I pay for my own parking and get reimbursed. Tracy is really accessible the only time the tickets weren't at will call and helped me get them very quickly.
Mostly Will Call, email or Mobile App. I don't think that anything is "mailed" at this point.
Mine were at will call. You should look at the forms and information she has online and email her if need be she is very helpful.

How did your shop go? Considering doing my first one for them this weekend.
I have both picked them up at will call and had them emailed to me. I prefer will call because even if they are emailed, you typically still have to evaluate the will call window so might as well have a real reason to be there.
At the sporting events, are you just evaluating the parking attendant and experience and the concession attendant and the experience?

How long does it take to do their normal reports? What pictures if any are required?
Every time I have shopped, the tickets are at will call. The seating varies. Sometimes upper bowl, sometimes seats most of us can only dream of and include VIP level amenities. Lots of work to do on these shops and the reports. I would recommend arriving 2 hours ahead of the event so you can get almost all of your observations done before it starts. Take really good notes. Everything from parking, ushers, concessions, exit experience, and many more items need to be evaluated. Also leave plenty of time for your reports. I believe they give you 24 hours, and assuming it is an evening event you may only have energy to start the report before sleeping. I limit these shops to weekends or before days I don't have to work.

Also to add, I believe if you claim the tickets at will call and flake on the report, you will be charged for the cost of the tickets. I'm pretty sure that was the policy, but never happened to me. smiling smiley

Also, how are the seats they provide? Are they nose bleed or fairly okay?
Some of each. ASK first. Frankly not worth it for the nosebleeds.

I have had really good luck with this company and the schedulers have always been responsive and professional. I would recommend taking an assignment and trying it out after you have completed more than a few regular shops. The amount of detail required and the number of people to evaluate would have scared me away if I had not already done similar shops. I can say it is less detailed required than another MSC who does similar shops. I did call and complain to an editor about a lower score, but I then realized I was filling out the form at 3 am and made a few typos. The editor was friendly and easy to talk to too. I am looking for similar MSC's, if anyone knows of any please let me know smiling smiley
I try to do as much as I can before the game starts, Tickets have been in the nosebleed section so I only go down before half time and only one time.
They do take quite a while to input the information and I try to take as many pictures as I can while being discreet.
Tickets have been at will call. I find the reimbursement for the food is really not adequate.
I have found that the editors have been very helpful.
