Hi,
My name is Jessica Gomes, I'm 22 and a very hard worker. I also love to shop!
I am very interested in being a mystery shopper. I have most of my experience in childcare, customer service and retail. I can perform any task that is needed and do it in an accurate and quickly manner. Thanks so much for your time and I really look forward to hearing back from you!
Hi jessieg28, welcome to the forum. We are other mystery shoppers rather than mystery shopping companies so this is not the place to apply for mystery shopping jobs. Below there is a link to a great list of mystery shopping companies. You should go to their websites and fill out an application. Once you are signed up, you will be able to search their job boards. I recommend you sign up with as many as you can. I am signed up with over 150; many shoppers are signed up with much more than that. While you are here on the forum, read as much as you can. There's plenty of good information about how to run your new mystery shopping business.
Thank you for your interest in ICCDS, Jessica. If you go to our website you will be able to sign up to become a mystery shopper for our company. Thank you fellow mystery shoppers for your helpful advice to her as well :-) I wish you all a Happy Holiday Season!!
Marti
I signed up with ICCDS a company last night and was given a shop.
I did the shop today and when I tried to get into their web page to enter
the results, I was not registered.(the best I can tell)
And furthermore, when I called, it went to voice mail
Another thing, the shop that I did is not on their list as being open.
This is crazy.
Did you sign up in the Sassie system? I am signed up in the old system and in the new system. Anything signed up in the old system must be reported in the old system.

You might want to check out the most current ICCDs post. A few of the schedulers have posted about the new Sassie sytem. Maybe you can get in touch with one of those schedulers about your concern.

You pulled up an "old post". Please look at the most recent ones.

Did you go to ICCDS.com? Forget sassie for the time being. You will not be able to get them by phone after 5 p or on weekends. I am long time ICCDS shopper. I'll be up for a while. Let me know maybe I can help 2 nite.

I am sorry for any difficulty you may be encountering. I would like to help you resolve any concerns. Please feel free to private message me and I will be able to help you! I'm not sure if you are looking in the Sassie system for your shop or the other system.

These shops are relatively simple, the reports are also simple and the company pays without any hassle. If the shops are near my home, I do them. Otherwise I pass.

Shopping Chicago land since 2010
I really like this company. Very, very professional. I did notice one tendency, and maybe its just due to it being summer: all of their shops seem to be a purchase/reimbursement + fee sort of setup with clients that have higher than normal retail prices. Not to completely knock it, yet it would be nice sometimes to not have a purchase requirement.

Just my 2 pennies.
The ones you are talking about are always P/R shops and have been as long as I've been shopping with ICCDS. I don't know if this part varies, but the return can be done at a later date and does not include a report.

Agree w/ Lisa. Unless this is something that I have not seen b/f. Reread the guidelines. I always do a return Think reimbursement is optional. Maybe not. For the record have not had an inch of trouble with them. Golden.
@cynb All the shops that I've seen show a reimbursement up to $5. What I was trying to convey is that many of their shops are so high-end that for one, its difficult to find an item that is under the reimburseable expense of $5. The return portion, if applicable, is never a problem. However, I would feel weird walking into a store and asking for a refund of a very, very cheap item with the receipt. I would assume that this would signal yourself being the shopper and preventing you from doing future shops at the same location.

Also, what are you talking about in rereading the guidelines? The purchase part of the shop is a standard and mandatory position of many, if not all of their shops.
Eric, I just looked at the jobs in your state and the retailer is not one we have here. The STL shops are for high end clothing stores and accessory stores, think several hundred dollars for a purse and nothing below $30. Those are P/R. I don't think the one you are looking at would involve a return, just the small reimbursement.
