Anyone done shops for them? Scheduled by Kern usually. No reply for payments confirmation. Any inputs/thoughts?

I can't speak to Confidental Consumer specifically as I haven't completed a shop for them; however there are about 3 shops/company I routinely do every 60 to 90 days for kern. I have found the most successful method for questions of pay..etc is to contact the Kern scheduler...

Shopping Idaho and Oregon/Idaho border region.

I have had zero issues with Confidential Consumer. They pay by check, 45-60 days following the assignment.

Reimbursement is reasonable, pay is by check. Only issue I have is that the bar portion of dining shops requires you to stay at the bar for 30 minutes. That is a bit long to stretch out and then go to the dining room for dinner.

When I signed up the form asked for my PayPal account to receive payment. I assumed they would pay by PayPal , now they want to pay by check. I do not do shops for companies that pay by check. Such a nightmare

It's been a few months but all my shops for them have resulted in PayPal payments.

They are using bill.com to pay me.

They pay by cheque and bill.com only so I'm at a loss how you were paid by PayPal?

I agree. I do not like to do shops that have a bar visit attached to the dining room. they almost never pay extra for the bar portion and it takes me another hour to complete that portion of the report. then they often ask you to inquire about wines or cocktails when you are at the table but you've already had a drink at the bar and are only allowed to purchase one alcoholic beverage. I hope schedulers are reading this So they know how we feel. It's as if the company is trying to get us to do two shops for the price of one.

Confidential Consumer uses bill.com to issue payments. You may select to have them paid via check or via direct deposit. Personally, I have them pay me via direct deposit. I love how hassle free it is and it's faster than waiting for paypal to clear or a check in the mail. Just FYI.

Iam travelling across the world at all times. I do not have Bill.com nor do I want it. PayPal is my preferred method of receiving payment. I hate companies who complicate matters and will not be working for this company again. It was a pain anyway, they want me to do a lunch evaluation where the restaurant is not even open for lunch. How is it my lookout to check this and reschedule accordingly, shouldn't the client know their opening hours. Same goes for ACL, Coyle and AQ services.
We do the work in time with a perfect score so just pay us in decent time without additional hassles.

I've never had an issue with ACL or Confidential Consumer. ACL pays by check and tells you when you can expect it and CC pays me through Paypal. Nice and simple.

CC insists they don't pay by PayPal only Bill.com or check. ACL checks are always late, haven't received them for June yet.

One of my favorite. I apply for their shops directly on their job boards. Most of the time i'm able to self assign. The schedulers and editors are easy to work with, they have nice restaurants and offer a fee in addition to the reimbursement.
