Super Bummed so many of the company sites don't take Gold certifications dated after 2014.

What is up with that?? I wish I'd know this before I paid to take the exam.

Sorry to hear about your experience. Reading the forum here may have informed you that getting the certification isn't much help to getting assignments. I read through the forum and then decided that I didn't need any certifications to get shops. Ones track record and reliability goes a long way.

From what I'm seeing, companies ask about certifications but it doesn't seem to affect get shops. I get plenty without any certification.

In general, it really amazes me that people who have been on the forum for awhile still ask questions that they can get the answer to by just reading the forum topics. Not only do i spend time reading the forum but i find it immensely helpful. I really thank most of the people here for their informative insights and constructive comments.

MSPA Gold cert have been giving shoppers conniptions for YEARS! It is a problem between MSPA and the platforms in most cases. Also, some MSCs just stopped recognizing the certs, or at least so I am told.

Poor customer service? Don't get mad; get video.

If the MSPA really wanted to make it the best experience for both the shoppers and the msc's, then the mspa should stop offering the certifications or at least make it clear that it isn't really worth a can of beans.
