Deleting locations from Maritz route offer?

Hi All,

I used to be able to delete some locations from Maritz route offers when submitting a counter bid. Since the new site is up I can't figure out how to do it. Anyone know?

I clicked a bundle, scrolled to the bottom and hit the green button. Then it brought me to the map screen. I hit “view as list” (or whatever it says), then clicked the ones I did not want. Scrolled down and hit the green button again.

I think I'm jinxed with Maritz.

I can do shops for them scheduled through other companies, and never have a problem.

But if I try to do one for them directly, something awful ALWAYS happens. Often, it's something I did; but just as often, it's something out of my control (storms, internet out for days, power outages, anything you can think of, it's happened!).

I've done dozens of shops for them, and never got to the point where I could self-assign.

I can't even SEE the bundles you guys talk about.

Same thing with The Source. Did 2-5 shops a week for them for 8 months, never did well enough on the shops to reach self-assign status.

And yet, other companies just love me to death.

Must be a jinx!!!!

There's no such thing as a jinx. The routes are not on the board. They are offered to contractors but I don't know on what basis. Last time I declined them all and they showed up on the board. So unless no one wants them you won't see them.
If I were you I would apply for just one gas station and hope nothing bad happened. Just keep doing one at a time until things go well. Eventually they have to.

I can't remember how you get to self assign status with The Source. But I think it involved more than just doing a couple of shops.

I did a lot more than a couple of shops for Source -- 2-5 shops every week for 8 months.

I can't see any shops on Maritz at all. I can't navigate the new website at all.

I've done dozens of shops for Maritz. The best thing is they pay quickly.

I'm no longer willing to do their shops at their pitiful pay rates when the closest one to me is over an hour away, and their idea of a great bonus is two or three dollars.

Now, Queen, I am allowed to believe it's a jinx if I want to!

I have plenty of work with other companies who seem to appreciate the quality of my work.

Do you have Direct Deposit set up with The Source? It's a requirement for self assigning.

Oh, yes.

But I haven't done a shop for them in over 3 months now. I need to renew my certification with them, the one that lets you do inspections. Love those, and the pay is so much better!

I bet if you contacted support they would fix whatever is wrong. I haven't shopped for them in quite awhile as I've had much better pay coming my way. I probably will when things are slow.

Maritz definitely marches to the beat of their own drum. When it’s good, it’s really good... and when it’s bad, it’s heckin awful. They’re kind of a niche MSC, IMO.
