Maritz - Nothing But Bank Shops?

For the last couple of weeks, I've basically seen nothing but bank shops on my Maritz page. A couple of Team 3 "new" station audits, but none of the regular shops for any of the stations, of any color or design, lol...is anyone else in this position? Any ideas?

They tend to get all of their 4th Quarter and December shops done as early in September as possible - I think they try to give their schedulers time off for the holidays. They did lose a bank client recently.... In my area, there are still MaritzCX shops for two different gas stations, one bank and an auto-parts store.

Hard work builds character and homework is good for your soul.
This is the time of year when many MSC are renewing contracts with their clients. Shops can be a little sketchy in Dec and Jan during that time. There is always that chance the client changes to a new MSC with a better price.
My area, 80 miles from home, is totally empty. No shops of any kind. I checked back to see what I did last Dec and I was able to fill in with some bonused gas station shops with the brand they just lost. This year, nada.

That's OK, now I can finish my Christmas shopping.

Merry Christmas to all.
I see tons of gas shops outside a 50 mile radius from me with huge incentives. Too bad I have family in town and can't do a trip. But yeah, in my big metro area, there is literally only 2 shops available. Bad time.
There is a gas station in Cambria, CA with a bonus of $30 and one up the coast in Big Sur at the standard fee.
Scotts Valley and Hollister also have the standard fee. Good luck filling those. I wonder if they need to complete a percentage of locations and they can leave these few to not get done?

There are no shoppers in Big Sur, Carmel, Malibu or Corona Del Mar. It's all old money and celebrities. They aren't doing $6 gas stations. The locations are on nobody's route either.

Suggest you put in a bid for the amount you feel is fair, if you want these shops.
Literally, it would be $100 a piece, but I don't even think that I would be excited at that rate. I'd need to do 10 of them to consider it. None of the locations are easy to get to.
I just completed a mini-route of 2 shops 80 miles away with a bonus of $100 each and picked up a flaked shop on the way back for an additional $25 bonus. Nice day. So if you need more than $100, ask for it. It's the end of the month. period and year so you will be negotiating from strength. Good luck.
