Anyone else have problems with slow to pay. They are supposed to send checks on the 31st. It's the 9th and still no pay.

Same thing here! I literally just joined this forum to see if anyone else is having this issue cause alta360 is being real crappy about it and wont tell me if its been returned to them stolen and cashed or anything and this is my biggest check ever and was really counting on it almost $350 and my family and i are starving due to this
Hmm, I get direct deposit on the first day of every month. I don't like checks, but I didn't even know that was an option. At any rate, they pay a month after the month the shops were completed. If you completed shops in December you won't get paid until the first of February.
I've never received a check from them. Mine is direct deposit, and for my payment due jan first I was paid on December 31. This was for work completed in November. I've worked with them for over 4 years and have never once been paid late. Call them, they are in the office during business hours and ALWAYS answer the phone.

You both should seriously sign up for direct deposit. Then you don't have to wait or risk the chance of a check getting lost in the mail.
Yes, sometimes it's the last day of the month, sometimes the first day of the month, one or the other, but they pay on time with direct deposit.
Mine was over $600 they told me to wait a couple of days. I was not aware they even had direct deposit because according to Gigspot when I signed up, they were paper check only
I already did that but was not aware of the availability of direct deposit until this issue had already arose i wish i wouldve known sooner because this is utterly ridiculous
Oh, I see. I don't use Gigspot. I tried it out for a couple of days and hated it. That's weird that Gigspot does that, why would Gigspot mislead shoppers? DD is the best way to go, so sorry you are having trouble getting paid. That is a good chunk of change to have to wait for. But now that you have DD things should go more smoothly from here on out. Alta is a great company and would not just stiff shoppers. I wonder if they are shorthanded in the accounting office and when it comes to checks they are just overwhelmed? I have no idea.
Yea same here using Gigspot and was for certain not given the option of direct deposit at time of signup just discovered it was an option after i had already not received my check. Ive been working for them pretty steady since Sept and it has NEVER taken this long to receive the check
David in doing a little research i just discovered that if we do indeed have to request new checks we will be charged $50 for it $35 to stop payment on the missing check and a $15 charge to issue a new check im not sure how signing up for direct deposit since will affect that $15 charge since there wont be new checks issued but rather a direct deposit i would assume but who knows at this point
Hold on, stop for a second, did someone at Alta actually tell you your check was mailed out? If no check was mailed, why would there be a charge for a stop check and to mail a new one? As luckygirl suggested, call them. It's too late to do so today (they are in EST), but they are a M-F operation and can be reached by phone from 9-5 EST.
Yea they did tell me it was mailed but nobody ever checked cause she didnt even ask my name or anything she just said they were mailed the 31st and rushed off the phone and ive been trying to call all week as i felt that call was pointless but i just keep getting voicemails thats why i said they were handling it real sh***y because they wont even tell me if its been returned or stolen and cashed or anything. Does anyone know of a different contact number or maybe even person that would get me better answers

I'm not saying you are lying but personally I've had the opposite experience with them. I've NEVER been rushed off the phone, nor have my voicemails gone unanswered. And they have multiple people in the office to assist.
Call and ask for Susie or Matt... those two are AMAZINGLY responsive, professional and will know how to assist you. I can't see Alta being 'unavailable' for a full week.... that's just not my experience.
No im definitely not lying lol and ive never had any issues with them previously either but ive only ever had to contact schedulers by email and theyve always been very responsive and helpful but im also not sure im calling the right number because its an automated system in which i just selected #6 for shopper issues and not even sure who i spoke to but she definitely didnt offer much help just stating they were mailed on the 31st im waiting for the mail to run today and if its not here ill try contacting 1 of them 2. Thank you so much for your help
David any upadates? I still have not received mine as of mail run yesterday

I first noticed this MSC's name late last year and wondered why I had never heard of them. As their fees were far below my minimum, there was no reason for me to investigate. After reading this thread, though, it appears this might be the company formerly known as Ritter. Please share.
Well they dont any longer and im beginning to think they might not pay at all now : / i forgot to post in my last comment that i called the post office yesterday too and they said mail is not backed up now at all from the holidays
Hi... Just confirming:
This is for shops done in November, yes?
You can see on your shop log that they were approved?
I don't know this MSC well... Does the shop log tell you whether or not they have been paid?

If so....I would call the company and have them specifically verify that you have been issued a check. They should be able to look up your account specifically. If they have issued a check, verify that they have your correct mailing address... Another shopper in this thread stated that s/he just received a check yesterday. checks do come out later than Direct Deposit typically. It is very possible that you are a little further from the distribution center than the other shopper and your check will arrive today or tomorrow.

Alta360 is an upstanding company. Fees may be low, but the company always pays. I received my payment via direct deposit on 12/28. I believe their “official” pay date is the last day of the month— in which case mine was 3 days early.

Check your address on file in the profile section of the Gigspot app. If it is correct, be patient. The check will come.
Yes for shops done in November and yes they were accepted and received the pay statement and i did see the other posters statement that they received their check on Wed. I am in PA and alta360s office is in OH a little over 4 hrs away i have called the office several times and even expressed my concern that "what if it was stolen and cashed" and the only thing alta360 will tell me is 1. It was mailed on the 31st and 2. No checks have been returned to their office. Now that being said i just want to clarify that the biggest part of my frustration here is the way alta360 is handling the situation. Had they been a little more helpful and an express the smallest amount of care i probably never would have come here. And sure enough as soon as i got on the forum the OP's post stated the very exact thing i was going to ask just 3 mins before and then i became even more concerned. They have a real dont care not our problem attitude about it and will verify absolutely nothing for me. I have called 5 times and have only actually spoke to someone (Mary i believe)twice for less than 2 mins both times and being rushed off phone both times. Smh apparently their concern ends once jobs done and theyre paid anything after that they dont have time for. And dont even get me started on how if i dont ever receive said mailed check I have to pay $50 to get a new check. $35 stop payment fee and $15 re issue fee I learned this on their page connected through Gigspot i have since enrolled in direct deposit but i dont think that will matter ill still be charged $50. At this point i just want paid for the work i did and i will not be accepting any more jobs through them at all ever again because im a firm beliver a good company is built from the bottom(shoppers) and examples start at the top(managament) and i have no interest in working with a company that doesnt even care if their shoppers get paid. Its pretty sad but at the same time inspiring that all of you people on this forum have expressed a 1000% more care & concern than alta360 0h and BTW
UPDATE: still no check today

I am unclear on this: In your conversations with Mary, did she actually look up your account? Their accounting office should be able to verify that you were personally sent a check and on what date. If they did send a check, it is out of their hands. (It is worthwhile to confirm it though - there was another similar concern as noted before.)

Thereafter, it becomes a question of mail delivery, which is something the MSC does not control. Could some of your mail been inadvertently delivered to the wrong address, for instance? Mail theft is real over the holiday season. Etc. If they did post a check, it might make sense to go ahead and bite the bullet and cancel the check - though I'd give it a couple more days, just in case.

MFJohnston to clarify no Mary did not and would not verify anything for me. And yes you are correct mail theft is real this time of year and always for that matter and was my concern as well all though i have never had an issue with my mail in the little over 4 yrs ive lived here but it could happen and exactly why i wanted her to verify it was indeed mailed to me and has not yet been cashed but nope the only thing she would tell me is that it was mailed on the 31st but never bothered to verify that either.
