All time low in shops

I see that the Marketforce shops in my area are at an all-time low. Only 47 available until the end of February. Has anyone else seen a decline in the shop opportunities?

Are you just talking about MarketForce being low - or other MSC's as well? I don't shop MarketForce, but I've got plenty of work with other companies.

Hard work builds character and homework is good for your soul.
I am up to my eyebrows in January shops. But have not done any MF for many years. Maybe you need to sign up with more MSCs?

Even after 13 years, I keep discovering ways to diversify my MS clients and increase MS net income.

Based in MD, near DC
Shopping from the Carolinas to New York
Have video cam; will travel

Poor customer service? Don't get mad; get video.
This.
I am turning down shops at $60 that I was snatching up for $50 a year ago.

This is probably a better question for shoppers who have not shopped as long as some of the veteran forum members who have established themselves. There is usually a slight decrease in January and sometimes February. But then it tends to pick back up. However, there have been a substantial amount of clients who no longer use MSCs in recent years, and some of those are depending on feedback with an offer of a coupon. In my opinion mystery shopping is a more dependable way to find problems.
It's possible for MF, but as long as they're offering me $30+ fees for 30 minutes of work or less AND able to cover all parking and tolls to stack whenever I want to take the tollway, go to the airport, park in downtown, etc., then I'd have no issues for less shops available as long as those incentives are still there....

Shopping the Greater Denver Area, Colorado Springs and in-between in Colorado. 33 year old male and willing to travel!
I'm in a rural area... my main MF revenue was a fast food chain they used to do and offered decent mileage incentives. As soon as that chain started offering breakfast all day, the shops in my area were gone.
I see a very limited amount of shops also.

The same old MF shops in my area - not much to offer. There used to be so many MF clients years back. I don't see any bonuses being offered on those same old shops, either. In general, an strong decline in my area for all companies. I used to be able to go out for the day and do quite well. Not anymore. Lucky to get a few shops a month.
There are still the bookstore shops for 5 dollar reimbursement that is it! Are they serious!!!
Oddly enough, MarketForce has more shops in my area than usual. It's the other MSCs I'm an IC with that are having a dearth of them this month.

I did one of those for the first time today, with a bonus. The drink alone was over $5, and then you needed to buy something at the main register. How can they get anyone to do these for $5? And you need to evaluate music, children's books, the restrooms, and the front, in addition.

Not every drink is $5 there.

I agree although lots of people like to do this shop???
There’s no way to tell the fee that they accepted. I’ve done it for $20 + $5 and as low as $15 + $5 at Christmas.
I have been seeing about 75% reduction in the amount of shops for a few months now.
This is in 2 large cities.
I am not getting any of MF fast food jobs that have skaters. Its been months since I have seen the hardware store jobs and also no famous phone shops. What is going on?

There's little on the MF board here but a lot of shops have appeared and disappeared. I think they're being snatched up at rock bottom prices by someone who's even newer at this than I am.
In my area all the jobs available are night gas station jobs and some are a long ways off.
I'm seeing some of MF's old clients on the Field Agent phone app.
Happy Day! Same pay, and I get paid in 5 business days or less.

This year, MFI seems up in my area. I know it's random, because I thought this last year I think and everyone was like no we see tons in our area.

Could be a random thing...some years your area is lucky and some the reverse

MF has only posted 4 shops in my area for Feb. Any idea whats up?

Again, could be luck thing. Sometime you get more...sometimes less.

MFI has loads of shops near me
I saw some new jobs today. A lot of gas station night jobs, but also some daytime jobs. Looks better than January job listings.
