Also I would like to know who or what type of clients contract onsite inspections in private residences
. Who needs this information?
Hi Sberger1,

You may want to have your thread moved to the main shopper section.

TrendSource, or The Source Agents, is a reputable company that had been in business for over twenty years.

People do business in their homes. Some of these businesses involve dealing with personal information. The lenders or suppliers will contract The Source Agents to make sure that the private home is a legitimate business.

I don't do the onsite inspections but they have a grocery store client in my area that I do almost every week. They are reliable and pay twice a month. The reports are easy.
Trendsource is a good company.... They tend to pay quickly, but not real well. They have always dealt squarely with me. I would suggest that they are a fantastic option for somebody who needs to earn some money quickly as they have a huge number of grocery shops - and most of us need to eat. You can buy (some of) the groceries you need at each shop, be reimbursed for them and earn a little money - getting paid/reimbursed in about two weeks. The reports are easy once you've done one or two.

Hard work builds character and homework is good for your soul.
True for me three...doing two tomorrow, always spend more, but feel I come out ahead, and paid twice a month,
very fair. Never have to drive, we have 8 groceries they do all in my town, none more than 4 miles.

Live consciously....
I've done the onsite inspections. They are a lot of questions and several photos, but not difficult since you have a checklist to work from. I find that most of the contacts are anxious for you to come and do the inspection and are expecting you. I like doing them, but they seem to be limited in my area. Trendsource doesn't have the grocery shops in my area either, so the inspections are my only option.
The schedulers are really helpful and responsive. As everyone said, the starting pay is really low. One of their smartphone shops starts at a low of $6.00. But they do tend to bonus (or PAD, that's what they call it) a lot, especially if you area doesn't have a lot of shoppers. I just did that smartphone shop with a $30 bonus. 15 minute shop for $36 and no narrative report was great.
They are from San Diego, CA, so have tons of jobs here in my area, hence, I don't get pad (too many shoppers), however, since everything is lose, I don't need it...good points, they pay twice a month on the 5th an the 20th
and I often get paid sooner. I also self-assign, so very easy for me, I get half of my food through them, and they have made the reports easier. Going to re-new my background check, I enjoy those shops and the schedulers I deal with are the tops.

Live consciously....
Great company to work for. Pay on time and very helpful. Their shops are well-defined and reports are easy. Do grocery and inspections frequently.
Trend Source's starting commissions are low because they find enough people who will accept those rates.

When they ask me to do an assignment, I politely make it clear to the scheduler what my rates are for that particular type of job. The schedulers are always nice, and if they can meet my price, we proceed. If they can not, I thank them for calling, remind them that I like working with them and that they should feel free to call anytime.

Politeness counts.

TrendSource is one of my favorite companies to work for. Their grocery client is ubiquitous here in the Midwest and they are the closest thing I have to steady mystery shop work. They pay very fast, sometimes more frequently than the advertised twice a month, which is nice. Schedulers are friendly and easy to work with.

Edit due to fat fingers, LOL
