If you're referring to American Chinese food, check out Market Force for the really large chain store or Mercantile also does a smaller nationwide chain. If you want authentic Chinese food shops, check HS Brands (A high-end fine dining restaurant that serves authentic Chinese/Cantonese food) or Coyle (They do a shop for a really famous small chain restaurant from Taiwan that specializes in dumplings/xiaolongbao/noodles), although these shops are pretty limited in a couple of larger cities in a couple of states (SF, LA, NY, Seattle, and a maybe a couple others).
Coyle does xiaolongbao! I used to live across the park from the original shop YEARS ago and ate there all the time. I've been thinking of trying one of the US places but their upscale decor just seems so wrong I've avoided it. I might give it a try for a job. Thanks!
@wwin Give it a try! It's pretty close in taste to what you get in Taiwan. After they got a Michelin star, they renovated their stores to be more upscale including the original store.
@OCyou2, that's the name of the chinese dish. It's not the name of the restaurant so nobody violates anything.
Thanks @azncollege and @wwin. Is there other MSC for American Chinese food? Marketforce kinda sucks, sorry. Mercantile doesn't really have chinese food in my area.
@KV The Market Force shop for that chain is pretty easy. They just recently simplified the report even more. Coyle also does a nationwide American Chinese/Asian Fusion restaurant. Unfortunately there aren't too many nationwide or regional chains that offer American Chinese, which MSC's tend to shop for. Small/local restaurants tend to not be MS'd. Your best bet is to just sign up for more MSC because sometimes your local American Chinese restaurant might be mystery shopped. To get around this, some MSC offers online food ordering or app shops that allow you to purchase any food from any restaurant in your area. Try Gigwalk, SeeLevel (They just wrapped up a huge food ordering project, but they do it a couple of times per year periodically), GFK, or Red Quanta (Proceed with caution though. They paid me on time but there's been a lot of issues from other people on the forum with them.). If you travel/fly a lot and your local airport has American Chinese restaurants, check out Customer Service Experience. CSE specializes in airport restaurant and retail shops.
@OCyou2 That's not a violation. Xiaolongbao is not the name of the restaurant and refers to a type of Chinese dumpling (Soup Dumplings).
Look for a great Chinese food shop with Jancyn on iSS platform. Really fun and interesting restaurant in major US cities! Good Luck.
