Well I can't really name the client now, but it's part of the tasting menu at one of the all-inclusive resorts in Mexico....and it's just a single taco since there are 11 courses, but you are literally required to have these as part of the assignment, since there's just the one single menu for the restaurant.
I'm kind of glad I didn't Google Escamol before dinner, though. I just enjoyed them and the server told me what it was afterward.....

@SoCalMama it took a few days, but I got it submitted over the weekend.

It's 3 nights, but you end up being pretty busy the whole time. No time to work on property. It's like a cruise review without getting on a boat...so less time on vacation but a much better stay.
I've actually been to the property before, and it's my new favorite hotel. Not because it's opulent. It's just the right mix of fun, location, cuisine and eco-conscienceless.
I just wished Coyle was more flexible with children coming along on some shops. I can understand that it’s absolutely not appropriate for a lot of places but they should at least consider the lower end hotels. Since we adopted (love our kiddo), I’ve exclusively worked on hotel shops for other MSCs. So far, no problems with observation/reporting.
I know they have a couple kid friendly themed hotels/cruises but I just wished they open this to a wider group of clients. Families do travel and we do have opinions too

They had a posting for a hotel that was very clearly for families. It would totally weird for a couple to stay here without kids so I asked if I could bring a child and they said no. Made no sense. Supposedly those parameters are set by the client but in this scenario, the "consultant" (MSC) should push back a little.

Their model report looks nothing like what I send in to them as far as length, complexity, and detail.

Sorry. That's what I do. I got 100 on the last three reports. I think that I got a 90 or 92 late last year on something.
The shops they have in my area I wouldn’t consider high end so I do wonder what they have in other areas.. I have never completed a shop for them because the 2 clients they have in my area are both places you can easily order a meal for $20-30 a piece. I would just rather pay for that low amount rather than do an 8 hour report so I’ve never taken one. I understand I could see more shops by doing a few of these but the several hour reports that people talk of I just don’t want to do. I’m happy to work for ACL and some others that have shorter reports even if they pay less or offer a less exciting experience.

I think there is a misunderstanding. You should be able to see all opportunities available. Coyle is not like ACL, where you have to complete XX number of shops in order to see the "good stuff".
Couldn't agree with you more; I wouldn't want to complete a survey for a $20 - $30 meal that would take hours to slog through.

ACL shops are much much easier to write. ACL doesn't provide enough compensation and rarely provide fee on top of it. And most importantly, they don't have many dining clients. And they rarely high end ones. One high end they have the coyle doesn't have, that dinner will leave you spending money out of pocket because they're too stingy.
They also use meta-schedulers sometimes who schedule for different companies.

Coyle has some 2-3 night stays in Myrtle Beach for families with kids only. When my teen decided to go with another family for spring break, I asked, but they said the shops were for families only.
