WeGoLook "Auto Claims - Vehicle"

Has anyone do one of these shops?

Is it basically going and taking pictures of a vehicle that has been in an accident and you need to take pictures of the damage? If so how long do they normally take?

If so, how do you determine the owner is going to have the vehicle home when you try to do the shop?

Also, if it's pictures of the person who caused the accident, wouldn't they possibly be angry?

This is the text of the shop:

"This is a Auto Claims - Vehicle Photos Look and pays USD 19.00. It must be completed by June 18, 2019."

It sounds like an insurance company or lawyer has contracted with a MS company to have these photos made. Is "WeGoLook" the name of the MS company, or the name of the client?

If I were the accident perp or victim, and a stranger showed up unannounced to take pics of me and my car, I'd call the police.
You call to set a time to meet the vehicle owner. It is for their insurance company. You take a number of pictures, some with a measuring stick to show size of dents or other damage. It's all done within their app, so all submitted onsite. I have done a few of these, and I have not had any trouble. Several of the vehicles were already towed away, so I went there instead of someone's home.

My problem with this company is they bombard me with emails about the same project for the same fee for days at a time. And the low fee means I only do it when it is very convenient for me.

WeGoLook is the MSC and I believe all their shops are done with an App.
They also pay quickly. It consists of taking pictures of the vehicle with their app and confirming the VIN number. Since it's done on an app, once you submit the shop - that's it. Good company.
I signed up but there has yet to be any work near me
Most of the ones I see are those where to have to take several pictures of a building or post a notice on someone's door. There is a separate thread about the "door hanging" shops.
I've done work for them in the past. You do either personally make an appointment with the owner or you are given a window of when to be there so they *should* be expecting you. I always explain I am not told who has requested the report to protect against bias. I've never had anyone get hostile about the process but at least one was confused about it. The challenging part is when the App's questions don't line up with the inspection. For example, pictures of the VIN, driver/passenger side etc.. It was a Toy Hauler Trailer. So took appropriate pictures with comment and sent it in. And yes, they can bombard you with work that can be a distance away and not adjusted with price. Sort of like a lot of MS companies we know... They pay on time and aside from previously mentioned hiccups, never had a problem otherwise.
