maritz debrief problems

Hi y'all, I am having difficulty debriefing my shops for Maritz. The site shows the photo I upload but it does not take the photo. Two or three questions later it says an error has occurred and the photo has been removed. I have had the same message show up after I submit a shop. Sometimes the photo will not upload at all, I have to rename it, resize it, and crop it to get it to load, then if it still doesn't load I have to load some other photo in that place and then add the photo that won't attach sometimes that works sometimes not. I have had to reduce the number of shops I do because of this problem it takes me sometimes two days to upload a shop debrief. I keep getting shops returned because of missing photos. I have used my desktop with Google, explorer, firefox all the same problems., I use my phone, the same thing. IF, I wait until the wee hours of the morning I have a little better success than any time between 4 pm and 2 am. Please is anyone having this sort of problem? does anyone have any suggestions to help fix this? I am losing hundreds of dollars a month due to this problem. I have gone fr0m 90 plus shops to 30 or less per month.

I have not shopped for them in ages, but when I did I remember having to upload photos at the end or problems would occur.
Are you using Chrome? I have no problems as long as I use Chrome. Also resize the photos before you upload if necessary, or take them at a smaller size.

I've had that problem a few times lately. When I slowed down and waited for a picture to be completely finished loading before moving on, it didn't happen. Maybe that was just by chance, I don't know.
In addition to waiting until the photo totally loads, I found it helpful to close all other windows and browsers, and have ONLY the Maritz website open.
I would try the suggestions in this order, first use chrome. Second resize your photos to a smaller pixel size. It sounds like the website may be timing out. Then be sure and do what Cease suggested and wait for each photo to load before moving on to the next. If all else fails you might want to try going somewhere with really fast WiFi and see if that helps. Good luck!
When this happens to me, I scroll to the bottom and press the "Save" button. It takes me back to my list of shops needing debriefing or shopping.
Then, I go back to that shop and reopen it.
Typically, everything you had debriefed so far and the photos uploaded to that point will be there.
As for resizing the photos; that was supposed to no longer be an issue. But, I wouldn't know since I've always had my camera set to the 640 X 480 format (also referred to as VGA Email size).
Then again, if resizing was the issue, why was I having the same problem?

I have the exact same problem when using a slow or spotty wifi connection at a hotel. My solution is to wait for all the little black arrows under the photos to disappear before submitting the report. Sometimes the wifi gets so slow the upload times out and I get the "photo has been removed" message. Reducing the size of the photo helps, but often the only solution is to switch to a faster internet connection such as the hotspot on my smartphone.

Thank you all for your input. I have determined from all the responses it is just my internet that sucks. I live in a country setting without much strength to my cell phone or the internet. I have in the past had to drive to find a data available spot to do shops. I Have done all the recommendations and still have the problem. Here is hoping Consolidated gets upgraded to the present times. LOL, I have unlimited everything on my AT&T but that hasn't helped either.
Maritz is the only place that would not pay me for a shop that I went to three times and the guy not be there so I dropped them.
I called them about this and had a lady try to walk me through uploading it. [Also used different browsers, different internet connections, only Maritz site has issues]. She said the site should automatically resize & they use Chrome in-house so that should not effect anything either. By the end of the conversation I told her I had a MAC and she was like "EUREKA! thats the issue." She knew it was the problem because others had had the same issue, but wasn't sure how exactly the APPLE shoppers had resolved it. I went on a "convert to jpg site and turned a jpg into a jpg, and somehow it worked. However, I am currently having the same issue and that solution is not working...

Here's what I know
Chrome = good
JPG/JPEG = good
file size = shouldn't matter [allegedly]

Please let me know if anyone that had issues had a mac and what you did to fix it.. I'm loosing my brain over here! Thanks smiling smiley

I have found this to happen when the Internet is too slow especially on slow Hotel internet. Resize the photo to 800 x 600 has help 60% of the time.
