Mkt Force shops

Anyone notice that they are now being strict on the "Only do 1 shop per day during the same time range. Time ranges to shop: 6:00 am-9:45 am; 11:00 am-2:00 pm; 2:00 pm-5:00 pm; 5:00 pm-8:00pm; 8:00 pm-close"

That's going to make it difficult for route shoppers. We now have to wait around until the next shop range time. No longer the 20 minutes in between shops.

What I see says "Only do 1 <fast food client> shop per day during the same time range".

This client has always had that restriction, but now the time ranges are explicit.
I agree with boridi. I think it means you can only do a shop for that particular client once per time range. You can still shop for other clients.

"And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age." -Matthew 28:20
that is also applicable not only to fast food shops but fast casuals as well.

Shopping Eastern Pennsylvania since 2009
I have not shopped them in a while so I have not noticed. But they have several shops that are like only several blocks from each other and only 2 are food shops if that is true for the other types of shops well they can just forget about it.
Sounds like they are going back to the way it used to be years ago. You can shop up to five locations in one day, but each one would have to be shopped within the different shop periods. Where as you could plan a route with the 6:00 am - 9:45 am, (1 shop), then 11:00 am till close, (1 shop 11:00, 1 shop 12:00, 1 shop 1:00, 1 shop 2:00), no more. Back to the way it used to be.
This is only applicable to meal shops. You can do gas stations, other stores, and shops for other MSCs, etc. You can only have one meal per meal period. I'm a route shopper, and it affects me a little. I appreciate the specificity of the meal periods. I always liked the one particular shop that must remain unnamed (hedgehogs, anyone?) because the window was 11 a.m. - close. So easy to work into a route!

A bigger, unannounced change is they are severely limiting rescheduling. Now, if you ask for too many reschedules, they will cancel the shops on you. (This according to Management, who called me last month to explain why they were cancelling ALL my remaining shops.)
Another change I have noticed recently is that when I was picking up those end of month shops, a number of days was available for me to choose. However, once I have accepted the shop, all the other dates disappeared and I was stuck with the date I chose. Therefore, choose your date wisely because rescheduling might not be possible.
I too am affected by the restricting to certain times because I do route shop. Everything is so far away for me that I sometimes have 6 or 7 of those shops in a day. I guess I will just be doing what I can and losing a little. I also noticed that when I was assigned a shop today that I could NOT reschedule. Guess I really need to make a plan.
I do not do many shops for MF but I noticed years ago that the rescheduling window changes sometimes. I have always assumed it was due to another shop at the same location being done or scheduled too close to your shop in dates. So for instance your window was 10th to 15th and you chose to do the shop on the 15th. Someone else might have had the same location with a window of the 5th thru the 9th and they chose the 9th to do their shop the day after you scheduled. Then you go back to reschedule your shop and the 10th thru the 13th is no longer available because it is too close to the shop the other shopper is doing.
This kind of stuff probably happens more often in larger cities where they may want to do more shops per month at each location.
Lots of assumptions but what I see is what I base them on.

Yeah, I just noticed that!
Ahhhh. I am losing so much money with these new times for the hedgehog. I just can’t wait around for 3 hours especially when I am 3 hours from home......
I did my first drive in shop for them in August of 2013 and as far as I have known this has been the exact rule since then. It has never been written down, but I was given those time periods by a scheduler shortly after I started doing these shops and was told I could only do 1 in each time slot. The 11-8 just meant you could do it in any of the time slots.

Where are you seeing this notification, guys?

I just logged onto the MFI homepage and caught up on "announcements" for the past few months. I don't see anything saying this. Thanks.

I was told by a scheduler that as long as I had an hour between hedgehog shops I was good. Is this not the case?

I don’t do a ton of FF shops for MF, but I have always been under the distinct impression that you could only do one food shop per meal period, regardless of the client. Other clients, I’ve seen it advised to rest 10 minutes in between because MF becomes concerned about overlapping times if one shops ends and another immediately follows.

Were they allowing more frequent visits for one client? The client I’m thinking of does not have locations in my area so I’ve not seen the guidelines. All MF guidelines I’ve seen don’t want a shopper to get more than one lunch, for example. I think because we are required to taste the food, and they want us hungry when we do it!
I was doing between 5-8 FF shops for about the last 10 days of every month for at least the last 3-4 years. The instructions always said not more than 1 shop per meal period but I was told by several schedulers that as long as I waited 10-15 minutes between shops that they would put them in the time slots. And like I said I did them for a long time. I am a route shopper and this kills me. I won’t be doing this for another month. I’m going to have to cut down to 2 or 3 a day because I’m not getting home until 10 or 11pm when I have to wait for the last shop at 8:15pm. I will finish this month but I have kids at home and next month...I will be broke but home at a decent hour.
I rarely take ff shops on a long route. I eat BK or do a grocery store shop. With the grocery store, I can buy something to put in my cooler or snack bag and eat when I want to. I go to BK looking for the dollar ice tea, which in some areas is not available. then fries and nuggets make a great meal/snack on the go and isn't that expensive. Of course, it's not the healthiest way to go but it's still better than eating too many burgers (all that unnecessary bread ugh!) or drinking too much soda. I buy water and flavored water to go in the cooler at Walmart. And just recently started adding lunch sack size juices. Made for kids but at least they quench thirst without drinking a soda! I don't see how Trump can drink all that dang soda at his age, ugh again! I told my husband to stop drinking all that soda, and he didn't believe me until his blood pressure got so high he had a headache for at least a week. Told me he didn't want plain water either, (I bought Dasani Spring) anyway and he drank it. Men, when will they ever learn to listen to their wives?? When I was 20 I could drink 32-ounce sodas at least once or twice a day or even more. Well, I'm not 20 anymore, haha.

So this is not a change in the requirements at all. It's simply an enforcement of the requirements that have been there all along.
