IPSOS: Take a photo of the building both before and after

So I had a couple of nicely bonused shops deadlining today. The first one I did on the app and I forgot that I was supposed to take a photo of the building both before going in and AFTER leaving. I got the before pic. It was one of those shops where you wait 15 minutes and if you haven't been assisted by an associate, you leave and get 1/2 the pay for a "go" fee. Anyway, I wasn't thinking clearly about that and when I got to the parking lot of the next location, I looked over the guidelines and realized that I didn't take the after photo of the previous location. I made sure I took a photo both before and after for the next shop, but didn't feel like backtracking to go get another photo of the previous location. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone else had made the same error before, only taking the before photo, and still got paid?

I did a couple of these a while back. I always took pic before and after, but when I did the report, I was never asked to upload the after picture. I don't know if anybody else was asked, but I was only asked to upload the before picture.
I had the same experience.

Shopping Southeast Pennsylvania, Delaware above the canal, and South Jersey since 2008
I did. I got the before picture. Immediately after I exited the location I dropped my phone. Flat. On unforgiving pavement. Phone dead. No way to take "after" pic. Luckily "before" saved to Drive. Explained situation in iPsos "notes" section of report. Paid for shop. Have done a million for them since.

You are who you are, apparently as stand-up a shopper as I am. For you? I'd bet dollars to donuts it will go through. For those who ignored guidelines, time frame, falsified info etc., therefore making the before and after pics a "have to" and a sheer waste of my time? Doubt it.
Yeah, it's only going to be $12.50 instead of $25, but I was already in the area and it didn't take much time, so...I still would have rather gotten to see an associate, but I sure wasn't going to wait another 30+ minutes for only $12.50 more and a longer report to do.
If I have time, I'll wait around on those shops because the reports are so easy and not time consuming. I can usually get another report done while I'm waiting. Otherwise I bail and take the half fee.
Yeah, it was Friday late afternoon and I was hungry, with still another shop to do. But 30 more minutes? Nah.
I did one of these these past week for Ipsos. I captured both photos, but was only asked for one: it's still pending validation but I imagine neither of us will have trouble. I think, like nslinhar alluded to, it's based on what type of shopper you have proven yourself to be.
Yeah, I have done 100s of shops for them so hopefully it won't be an issue. Thanks everyone!

Hungry or hangry would have had me at half fee in a minute (or whatever the guidelines say).
All I had eaten today was a yogurt, so I was starving. I had some granola bars and a banana in my cooler but I didn't want that. I had gift cards for Fazoli's (as rewards from my credit card company) that was right around the corner. I had a free baked spaghetti on my rewards account and I got my hubby some ravioli and meat sauce with a side of meatballs. I think Fazoli's is one of the best FF restaurants around!
You set yourself up for that one. You planned ahead, knowingly or not.

"I'll go to this iPsos phone shop. I know I can leave after a certain point and still get paid something. I'll be hungry cause all I will have had for breakfast is yogurt and granola, bc I can't stomach anything else. I've got free food right around the corner, so my net will be great. I do not have to report on the free food." ..or something to that effect

Bet you are/have been a great coupon hustler, too.

I fully admit I am just as I described above.
My experience with these reports is that although it sometimes seems to ask for only one photo it will accept two. Just click attach or whatever a second time, and it will place the second photo right below the first. I had to do that on the appliance shop I did, but the phone shop report asked for both photos.

Sorry, OP, I don't know the answer to your question.
Yes, I used the app, and I did just that for the 2nd shop and uploaded 2 photos. I'm not really concerned, my earlier work today plus the 2 tech shops made for a profitable day--even with the unlikely event I don't get paid for the 1st shop.
I guess I'm the only one who keeps a bag of Frito's in the car for starvation moments!
