Maritz: Shop Due Soon Messages

Over the last few days, I have been getting this annoying automated messages, some of them for shops where the window itself has not even begun. It says they would appreciate a call or a response. Is it necessary to actually respond to these.

Maritz staff, if you read this, you're experienced shoppers don't need these automated messages.

I have received these messages and, in fact, just got one and have never responded to them. But then I have never flaked on any Maritz shop or for that matter, any MSC shop. I don't find them annoying but don't need a reminder and simply delete them.
It's a slightly annoying automated system but I prefer deleting the unnecessary messages to possibly forgetting a job. I've never forgotten one but a backup reminder isn't the worst thing to deal with.
I see these are just being ignored, then, which is fine. The content of the message says something to the effect of "we'd appreciate a call or a mail saying you will still do the shop". If the response really isn't necessary then they aren't as annoying. I just felt like I was obligated to respond to it. I, too, have never flaked on a shop.
