Marketforce audit

They just posted $10 audits at mobile telephone locations and actually said they were “long audits!”. I can imagine these would not be easy, or fun!

I wouldn't touch them until they bonus it to at least $40 for the location half a mile from me. $50-$60 for any ones further out.
I did many of them last year, and all have been less than an hour, with most being about 30 minutes. The only thing that would make the audit longer is if the store was understaffed and busy. The nice thing is that the store should be ready, because you now have to call them in advance so they know they will be audited in a few days. The guidelines for this year looked like those from last year when I skimmed over them. I suspect they call them "long audits" only to distinguish them from the mystery shops. As for the pay, I would not even consider them for $10.
I to have done many of them and if it takes longer than 30 minutes you are talking too much, or they are really busy because the customer comes first. At least now you do not have to say that it took longer than it did. Used to be at least an hour I think someone realized that 20 questions do not take that long. Oh and I just print out one list of questions and use different colored pens to mark the answers them with. And always a compliance form for each store.

I did one a couple of years ago bonused to $60 that included planograms, etc and I had to check whether they complied and take photos. You need to know the shop size because some are flagships and have 300+ phones displayed and others are regular size. The shops are similar to the old vitamin shops.
There are two different audits for this cell service company. One of the audits is quite a bit longer than the other. My experience is that I can complete the shorter one in about 20 minutes and the "long" one in at least 40-45 minutes. I won't be completing the long ones for under $40.
I completed two of these today. The second one was 18 minutes, and I had to explain why it took me less than 20 minutes.

How long does the shorter audit take you?
@ AZwolfman.... What was your explanation? I don't know how you do it in 18 minutes. Heck, sometimes it takes 18 minutes just to do all the computer check stuff. If it is a busy store, you are really kind of screwed because customers and employees will be P. O. Many of the employees have trouble testing the automatic email response, checking updates on antivirus and all that stuff. There are some stores I would never do an audit because there is always a steady flow of traffic and 5 -8 people constantly waiting, and the customers come first. Maybe I will consider long audits again if I knew the secret to Arizona Wolfman's success.
I was just looking over the "long" audit guidelines from last year. There were 56 questions. Questions included:

Were all electrical switches, outlets, faceplates, and cords in good condition?
Was a first aid kit present, and was it stocked excluding any oral medications or medications supplied by employees?

These are just two examples. We were required to personally check these items. Meaning, literally look inside the first aid kit. Then also take photos if not compliant. And literally walk around the entire store and check all of the switches, outlets, faceplates and cords.

These jobs take me just under 1 minute per question. Really don't know how someone could actually do this faster and be thorough.

Although MF calls the wireless retail shops I did "long" audits and says to allow yourself 2 hours to do them, they are basically the same as last year's audits with only minor modifications to a couple of the questions. There are only 2 to 3 photos required and only 2 dozen questions to answer. The store that took 18 minutes had 4 employees and no customers, and it helped that the employee was ready with his "cheat sheet." MF currently audits 2 mobile phone companies.

Apparently your reference to the computer check stuff, etc., refers to the other wireless company that MF is currently auditing. I have my first of those scheduled for next week, and there are 56 questions. The last one of these audits I did was in 2018, and it took me 53 minutes. I decided to stop doing those audits, because I could make more audits doing their mystery shops 3 or 4 times a year than I could by doing the audits once or twice a year. Then last year, they reduced the pay for the mystery shops and I stopped doing their mystery shops. Now that I don't do their mystery shops, I decided to do a few audits this year.
I am glad someone posted about these. I was going to inquire. It seems like a lot of work for $10. For those of you who have completed them previously, what do you feel is fair pay?
When I did these audits I believed they started at $35 and then I did a few bonused shops that were $65 to $85. They is no way that I would even look at the guidelines for $10.
thanks Teriraia I think I recall them getting to $40 last year in some locations near me. I will ponder.

I see now that we were talking about two different cell audits. The one that you have done in under 20 minutes is totally doable within that time frame and often less time. I did two tonight and one was 13 minutes and the other was 23 minutes but only because there were customers and only one associate. These shops are being offered in my area for $15 and I don't mind them at that fee because they are very simple and I am often done in 10 minutes.

On my job board, "long" audits are only described that was for the original audit I was speaking of. Those audits are currently being offered at $12 and I will totally wait until they hit $40 or more depending on location.
AZ.... we are on the same page. I don't do those other ones either. However, the shops that you indicated you have done in 18 minutes is different and I can totally see how that could be done. I don't do that long 56 question one for precisely the reason you stopped. I can use that time more efficiently doing other shops in the same time frame. Why are you doing another one of those? Are you trying to punish yourself or something? Isn't the fee only about $10 still? Com'on AZ!

I don't do audits for $10, but I probably will only do those three that I have scheduled and leave the rest for other shoppers. There are better shops available now.
Yeah. They start them at $8 or $10 now. I wait until they are at least $20, which can take 3-4 weeks after they are first listed. If someone picks them up before, I don't feel bad about missing them. They usually take 20-30 minutes to do and less to enter. I try to wait until they are in the mid-$20 range. Only local shops (within 15 miles) of course, unless I can set up a good route. But it is annoying that they used to start at $15 and go up from there. I can't imagine how desperate you have to be to take them at $8-10. And, of course, there's always the one that takes forever because the store gets busy.
Interestingly, this year you call ahead to let them know you're coming.
I must be in a specific division for them or something. I only seem to get shops about things to do at movie theatres. I want other categories from them too. Is the following their site as a WHOLE?:

They have two sides and you may not be registered with their mystery shopping side. It's a completely different division.
