Most MSC start you with a rate of 5, so you don't need to do anything, just apply for the shop. Once your reports are edited your score should go up. 10 is your goal. Proper English, no missed spellings, answer all questions, write narratives that tell the story. Always read over your narratives to correct your own mistakes. I don't think I have ever written a narrative without correcting myself. I am proud to say that I have had a 10 with companies who score you for about 12 years. If a report does not come back to you, your doing great! Listen to what the editors are telling you about what your mistakes are. We learn from our mistakes.
