Funny Mistakes By Mystery Shopping Companies

We all make mistakes, but we all have to chuckle if the client makes one.

I just received an e-mail to help with January's run at a certain chain of furniture stores.

My first thoughts were when I saw that header, "Sure, just let me break out my old time machine."

Anyone else ever seen a MS company make a mistake that was funny?

Probably funnier if you shared the actual header or this went way over my head. Oops just got it. I also have a tough time remembering what month we are in.

The M on my computer is sticky so I sent out an email for the Hoe (Home) Depot..
I got a ton of funny responses to that one. LOL

Bare Associates business name used to be truncated in email subject lines. The tacky teenager in me was amused to receive emails from Bare Ass.
I had a editor from the former company that did the green gas company, put my shop on hold for doing the selfie question wrong. I extended my arm and turned the camera to me and took a photo. That was her words. She wanted it in a mirror or reflection.
I uploaded a screenshot of the definition of selfie..The hold was released.

I got one yesterday for a shop that had a decent fee and a small bonus. Too bad it must be completed by January 15, 2014.

I reported a location was permanently closed, while at the location. I took pictures and immediately processed the report to salvage the closed shop fee. I believe the location had shut down the day before.

About a minute later I received an email cancelling the shop, telling me not to perform it.

Shortly after that the scheduler calls me telling me the shop has been canceled. I politely informed her that I completed the shop and expect the closed location fee. I was paid appropriately. We also had a short discussion as to how I felt about their process, seeing the only reason they knew the location was permanently closed was my having just reported it.
