Someone's got a great presto payday coming.

Friday afternoon most of the unclaimed green shops in the area popped up with a price of ,$50. I jumped on it and signed up for what I could complete in 48 hours. About 20 min later the ones I claimed were gone from my incomplete shops list and the rest of the batch were gone from the map. After a help ticket and several emails it turns out that the batch was part of a private route for a specific shopper and want supposed to be posted to the main map. Over 50 shops at 50 bucks each is one very nice payday. Wish they would have put them out for everyone at that price. (Or at least let me keep the ones I claimed.

Dam exact same thing happened to me! I was so shocked. Why don’t we all get special treatment?? I’ve done a ton of these too
Schedulers sometimes are shoppers too. Just saying.
Well, that's pretty rude. Maybe unethical? Just snatched them away from you like that? After you've contracted to do them? This project's nightmares just keep getting bigger and bugger!
If you were on the webinar, they said you can apply for a route and may get approved. It depends on your past history with them i think. Like, do ypu cancel shops, extend time, etc.

Not sure i want to be committed to a route, based on the current program. Lots of problems.
Seems like someone proposed a route cheaper than what OP self-assigned. And got it. After it was already taken. Just my 2cents.
I got 20 of them in my area I could finish in 48 hours. They were taken from me by Presto in thirty minutes
I think it's more likely that the "disappearing" shops were previously promised to a route shopper and only posted on Presto by mistake.... This blunder (?) should give shoppers an idea as to what they could get paid for these shops.

One question: how many or how few locations comprise a route?

My garden in England is full of eating-out places, for heat waves, warm September evenings, or lunch on a chilly Christmas morning. (Mary Quant)
"Route" is a vague term. It can be as few as two locations or as many as a billion.

According to presto they were definitely posted by mistake. I do think they should have left me the ones I claimed. My mistakes usually have consequences I have to live with. Them maybe not so much.
Ha ha that’s right. Wish I would have kept mine too
Wow what state are you in that they were offering $50/shop? Are you in a rural area? I have a couple routes scheduled and the most I am getting is $30/shop.
I think they said on the call that a route is 15 or more shops. I have picked up 2 so far, one with 39 shops and one with 29.

Exactly, last time they were bonused at $60 and then started going higher. These rates were for short distance shops, 20 miles or less. The dark audits are at $75+ and still not done everywhere.
The trouble here is that the MSC's mistake would not have consequences for the MSC, rather they would be for the shopper who was previously promised the assignments. It stinks all around: There was no feasible "solution" that did not make a shopper feel burned - either you or the other person.

Well now they have all been lowered to $22. Not sure how Presto is allowing all this to go on in their platform.
...Except if both shoppers got paid regardless of which got the route!

We all know that the MSC is not going to gift somebody $50/shop for a blunder like that - and such an expectation is unreasonable. An apology for the confusion is appropriate.

Oh, I know. But you've gotta admit that neither shopper would, "Feel burned" then!
Hello,

How is anyone getting routes? I am reserving 10 at a time.
