SSN all of a sudden "Pending", can't get paid

Hello. I am registered on both Ipsos sites and regularly do shops on both. On the Sassie Ipsos site, I applied for and got accepted for 2 shops. I perform the shops and turn them in. They are reviewed and accepted. All of a sudden I can't get paid for them because my social security number is "pending". It says I can't apply for or be paid for shops until it is approved. I find it weird that my SSN was fine when I applied for the shops but all of a sudden its "pending" when it's time to get paid. I emailed them and they said it is out of their hands, has to do with the IRS. Has anyone else ever had this issue? My SSN is just fine on all other Sassie sites AND I just got paid on the other Ipsos site just the other day. Very confused! Thanks for reading.

It generally only takes a day or two for your ssn to be checked but it is possible you need to put your ssn in for each different site you sign up with. For IPSOS, they now have three different sites under their wing, each of which were a separate company before. They keep each of them separate unlike other msc's that have merged their companies together when they have taken over another company. So they may require you to input your ssn for each of their three sites. I have never taken a job from either of the two companies they acquired in the past few years so I am not sure of this. But your issue will probably be solved fairly soon anyway.
Yes, I am signed up individually with each one. I am active on all of them and have done shops and have gotten paid in the past by all of them. That's why it is just weird that all of a sudden there is an issue with my SSN of all things. Thanks for your reply.
If the IRS is involved, you might as well count to 10, take a deep breath, and pour yourself a libation.

They are short handed and MONTHS behind in their regular work.
