Has anyone else had problems getting paid by DSG?

I've been doing weekly price audits for DSG since October (I had also done a couple others in previous years). They started paying me eight weeks after the jobs, and I got a weekly check. In March they started falling behind; at times it's been 10 or 11 weeks from shop to payment. I've been in contact with them every week and threaten to not do the audits (they say they don't have anyone else in the area who can do them). Every week they've talked me into doing them, promising I'll be paid. Yesterday I received checks for the jobs I did on 4/8 and 4/15.

I have only done a handful of jobs over my long career as a mystery shopper for DSG. I have always been paid on time per their payment terms. If you are not being paid on time per their payment terms then I would stop working for them until they have caught up. It does not matter if they don't have anyone else in the area. If this is truly the case then once they catch up and you wish to do work again for them I would increase my rate as you have leverage. How much more simply depends on what would be fair and how fair your payment for the work has been previously. The fact they still pay by check is astounding. Best of luck to you.

Shopping Western NY, Northeast and Central PA, and parts of Ohio and West Virginia. Have car will travel anywhere if the monies right.
I did some shops for them a few years ago. They paid for about 50% of them. The others they did not pay because they said the client filed for bankruptcy and did not pay them so they wouldn't be paying me. I refuse to work for them because they accepted my reports, approved them with high scores and then refused to pay.
DSG is a slow, slow, slow pay. Their call center in Manila is beyond incompetent. Still paying by paper check is amatuer. I only deal with them occasionally because the donut shops are fun.
