Anyone know anything About Shared Insight?

I signed up with this company because a client I shopped for changed mystery shopping companies. I can't get a human on the phone, can't get an assignment. I am beginning to think they are flaky. Anybody know anything about Shared Insight?

I don't think they are flaky. I've worked for them for ten years now. I have never ever talked to anyone on the phone at Shared Insight. I actually have never needed to. They post their jobs, send email about open jobs, shops are self-assign, I do the report and have never been contacted by an editor, the shop is just accepted, and I get paid. Works perfect for me.
The firm is in California. Its name is Shared Insights, not Shared Insight. They likely have a skeleton crew, at best, teleworking. Might be best to wait a year or so until the pandemic is in check.

Are there two different companies we are discussing here with similar names? The company I wrote about is Shared Insight Inc., 1501 N.Sepulveda Blvd, Suites E & F Manhattan Beach California 90266

@Rousseau, can you provide a web address for Shared Insights? I can't find that company.
This MIGHT be a company I worked for at least 14 years ago. At that time, they were located in Canada, but moved to the Carolinas approx.10 years back. I have not worked for them since they moved to the U.S.A.
Share Insight in California was not flaky before the pandemic. I have worked for them (and their predecessor) for years and have talked to them on the phone.

I don't know how they are doing now. They claim they will post some shops soon. Their website is still active.

My experience before the pandemic was that it was impossible to get a real person on the phone and half of the extensions listed on the emails never worked . Plus I promised myself and I told a lot of my in person friends to kick me if I ever took one of their lousy retail jobs again with the report that takes absolutely forever because it’s broken down page by page.

To each their own. I have experienced very few technical issues with Shared Insight. (To be fair, the previous MSC Sue Day was associated with was a nightmare for me and I gave up on them, too, because their reports took forever due to broken pages.) I got my first Shared Insight shops through Jessica Jameyson at KSS International in 2017. Since then, I have had phone communication with Sue Day, Camille, Katty, Cathy, Sharon, and others. Whenever I had to call them, I either got someone on the phone right away or I got a response within 24 hours, usually the same day. I didn't shop for them much and only shopped for a few of their clients. Those shops had reasonable pay and reimbursements and the reports were easy to moderately time consuming.

I shop 2 clients for them in my area. I can self assign. I have not had any issues with them.

It seems that they have now dropped the ending "s" from their name, so you were right.

I used to do an ice cream client they had, until they required more photos for the same fee. But for the ones I did, I did it all via the web site....self assigned, reporting, etc. I was always paid as outlined in their agreement.
They were one of my first companies back 15 years ago or so and at the time were very easy to reach by phone. After they changed their name to Shared Insight I found them harder to get in touch with. And they changed their format to the pages SoCalMama speaks of which were very annoying. Also their client list went from high end to shops for companies with lots of branches so they attracted many more shoppers for lower reimbursement jobs. I found their form to be really redundant asking the same question various ways for a 45 second encounter. I have not taken any jobs for a while but if they have gotten rid of the pages format that would encourage me to work for them again. I used to love them. They used to be a British company named Retail Eyes with the one office down the road from me. I am not sure if they still are connected. I never had an issue with payment.
