Anyone working for Market Approach? Seems to be travel / hospitality / timeshare related?

Hello. I was linked from a group on Facebook I belong to for Hotel shoppers, to a company called Market Approach. I filled out an app that does not seem to be on any known platform (Sassie, Shopmetrics, Prophet) and the app asks lots of questions about timeshare ownership, which you own already, and route shopping. However, it doesn't seem to lean towards one or the other company. The end says that I will be contacted by mark@ their address. I do not see them listed here as a known company so I wondered if anyone had any experience with this company?

Hello, I had done a shop with them, but it was through another scheduling company in Nevada. It was a timeshare presentation - the report was simple and straightforward. The shop itself was very easy - two nights stay in a hotel in Vegas (not the best one around, but still!) and then attend a timeshare presentation that I had to record with a device provided to me. The presentation is typical of a timeshare - lots of entertainment, food, and "you're-missing-such-a-great-deal-if-you-dont-sign-up" , and you get an additional gift card for attending the presentation. I'd definitely work with them again! I'd love to join your Facebook group for hotel shoppers if you want to share it...
I've done their phone shops and vacation rentals. David their scheduler is great. They pay quickly.
In my area they have the timeshare shops and kiosk locations where you go and talk to a timeshare sales rep. You get a bonus for having your own recording equipment, but they will supply if you don't.

The kiosk locations are pretty easy also. Did a couple last month.
I've done only one shop for them. It was for a candy store. It's been awhile ago and I still get emails to do it again, but it was not a convenient location sh I have not. It was a fun shop and also easy.
I love working for them. Last year they had candy and ice cream stores but have to seem them this year at all. I did several very easy hotel reservation shops as well.
I am not interested in the time share shops at all.
They have changed their name from TNS...you may find more information about them there. They were my first Mystery Shopping company. I started this because I own with one of their time-share companies and I was recruited to do the sales meetings as an owner. I wouldn't suggest that ANYONE start off with a recorded time-share sales "shop" (also includes a survey of the property etc. But I did it and then found out that restaurants and grocery stores and movie theatres and retail stores etc. were shopped. And now I don't like to pay full price for anything! :-)

David is a great scheduler. They are a solid company.

Most Market Approach shops I have performed or seen posted have been timeshare/travel/hospitality-related. I like this company, and both Kimberly (owner) and David are very easy to work with and responsive. I love their detailed shop guidelines.
Thanks for mentioning this company which I hadn't previously looked into. Their job board doesn't seem to list a fee for the timeshare shops, just the room and associated costs like parking. Is that typical? Don't you always get a few free nights at a time share if you attend the sales pitch? Or has that changed since the days of my childhood vacations when my parents endured such presentations? They do seem to pay a very good fee for the kiosk interactions that don't include a stayover.
I mystery shopped one of their kiosk locations in a sporting goods-type store for their timeshares, back in March, just before everything closed down. I used their recording equipment, which fit into my shirt pocket. All went well and I was paid quickly and as promised.

Market Approach is their own company. They have not changed their name. They schedule shops on behalf of Kantar/TNS, and still do as far as I know. They pay promptly and are nice to work with.

Thanks for all the wonderful feedback! MarketApproach was started by me 19 years ago. We have supported many of Kantar/TNS’ mystery shopping studies over those 19+ years. We also have our own clients we manage 100% on our MarketApproach site at [MarketApproach.clientsmart.com]. ClientSmart is web-based Mystery shopping application we created in partnership with a website design company. We do license ClientSmart to a select group of great mystery shopping companies with whom we’ve worked with for a long time. MarketApproach specializes in hospitality shops and we work with many of the top vacation ownership companies. David is my partner in business and life. Our shops are paid VIA ACH using Bill.COM and we pride ourselves in super fast payment. In almost all cases, we pay shoppers before we’re paid.

Looking forward to working with many new shoppers in the next few years and thanks for the continued support!
