OK all you English majors and IPSOS Shoppers

I know it is hard to take what is being offered now when with Maritz it was better. I agree with you. However, being patient and waiting for shops to bonus is the best way to let the MSC understand that the base pay is not enough. I do sometimes take a base pay or smaller bonus IF it is in a location I am already going. Otherwise I will wait them out and do 10-15 per day on several different routes for 10-15 days per month. I use Rakuten for hotels through Priceline, use a cash back credit card for all shops and expenses. I also will go to bordering states for the right money. I also don’t commit my route to one MSC or one client. If I’m going to an area not near my home I will call or email all schedulers and say “I’m going to AR the weeks of _______ do you have any shops?” So I usually get my meals and sometimes hotel through shops. It just takes having good relationships with schedulers and being known as a good reliable shopper. If it makes you feel better then send the letter. I think waiting them out is a better strategy.

Goodyear all weather to fit 2009 Nissan Rouge, $1200 in 2014 $ 1400 in 2017. I have the milage for the year on All vehicles and Discount tire recipes. One thing I have learned it is easy to tell the truth. It is harder to lie. Last year in the Coronavirus Pandemic I was shut down just like you and I still did 52,000 miles doing most of my shops in AZ, CO, & NM. UT was a hot spot most of the year and stay south of I 70 @boridi

$1500 for a set of tires? Don't use an 18-wheeler for shops.

We use a Rogue as well...2013.. Do you not have Discount Tire where you are? We just bought tires last month - 670 for 4 with road hazard (invaluable for our job!!) BTW, hate the Rogue! Wish I’d known about the transmission problems before I bought it.

Sorry for getting off topic grinning smiley

How long are your routes? Multiple days, obviously...
@Mousegal Yes I do and I drove the wheels off of that Rouge. I am sorry about the tranny. I found there was a sensor that I replaced for $ 125 and it fixed the loss of power that they said was the transmission code. The Goodyear tire I prefer was what they called the triple tread tire, which they don't sell anymore. They ran between about $600 for the tires on the Rouge, Alinment was about $200, Tuneup has to be done and if you can do it yourself. How about differential my case two and transfer case Transmission all have to be serviced at 100,000. I can go one but it all boils down to this. I drive 50,000 miles last year for shops. I did not set on the side of the road waiting for a tow truck. The whole point of this post was to get the bid board back. (I now have a route of the Man that wears the star that I was directed back to my KSS to Maritz old site). Any tax person says it is bad to get a tax refund and worst to have to pay. I guess I should close this thread but there is some good information here.
I do small 2-3 day routes and some 4-6. It just depends. I’m lucky, Texas is big. Plus I can squeeze over the border to several states. Since I live in DFW I’m kind of central to several good routes. I agree about taxes. I’ll take not having to pay over a refund. I think of the refund as a no interest loan to the government.
