Just curious...I was wondering if Jancyn was still in business, or if they were bought out by another MSC?

Got a couple shop requests recently.

They are definitely still in business. I had not seen much of them for the last 3 or years but they recently got a new client in my area so I'm doing a couple of shops every month for them these days.

Plus, they are on two different platforms. The Prophet platform has the sizing audits in my area. They are also on the iSecretShop platform, and even though I've signed their contract on that platform, they don't seem to have anything in my area through iSecretShop. But they may in other people's areas!

They do have shops on isecretshop every now and then.

I miss their P/R shop. Wonder why they don't do that anymore? I did one about two years ago I believe. Way before COVID

I don’t miss that one. Lines can be really long. Surprisingly, the line to purchase was usually longer than the one to return. Often got the evil eye from customers waiting to buy.

I shop for them all the time. I did like the P/R shops but have not seen them since the pandemic. Mostly I do the counting shops and a restaurant supply store. One of my favorite MSC's but the pay is a bit slow.

I always liked the P and R shops. The sizing not hard once you do a few. They also have sizing with the main stores discount store. Look in AZ for shops on the prophet platform if your curious what the other discount store is.

Shopping Western NY, Northeast and Central PA, and parts of Ohio and West Virginia. Have car will travel anywhere if the monies right.

They have several sizing audits in my area, but the only one that gets bonused very much is a 40-minute drive one way for me, so it's not worth doing until the fee gets waaayyy up there.

Just a reminder you don't have to wait for these shops nor any shops to be bonused you can always email the scheduler and ask. Jancyn will bonus if asked most of the time if you are a good shopper and have history with them.

i’ve been wondering, does the retail sizing client “mystery shop” jancyn? i’ve performed the same retail sizing shop twice for another msc, except that msc required 125 items, not 100 per category. they infrequently pop up in my area so i just have to wonder if the retail client is making sure jancyn’s shoppers are being honest.

could just be the client shopping mscs to see if they can get better or different results or a cheaper contract. The sizing audit used to be 125 items when I last did it back in 2015.

Do they still have their alcohol compliance shop with the smaller chain grocery store? I've been looking for those since the pandemic started and haven't found them since!
