Harder to negotiate higher fees with Marketforce

I'm not sure whether this might be region-specific, but I've noticed that it's much harder to negotiate higher fees with Marketforce lately. Before the pandemic, when schedulers would call about a shop, it used to be that I had a reasonably good chance of getting higher fees when I asked, even if only for a couple of dollars. But recently, the schedulers have refused to budge on whatever fee they offer, which usually isn't higher than what is currently on the job board. The only time they will "go higher" is when I call them out on offering me a LOWER fee than what is currently listed on the job board (example: job board posts fee at $15, they call and offer $12). Then they will only go as high as what is listed on the job board, which seems to defeat the purpose of even calling...

I've ended up passing on a good number of shops now because they refuse to negotiate, but I sort of worry they might eventually penalize me for asking for higher fees (and not accepting the lower ones they offer). There is one scheduler who gives me a particularly poor attitude, and I sort of wonder why he continues to call.

Like I said, I don't know if this is just happening in my area (or to me, specifically), because reading other posts on this forum, it seems like many of you are getting nice bonuses for some MF shops (that we never get around here). So I was just wondering if others are having more difficulties asking for higher fees like I am?

I just received my usual $60 fee after requesting it upon receiving a phone call. (It normally starts at $9 fee online.)
The trick for me seems to be waiting for them to get really desperate one time and offer a high fee on the website. Then you can request it over the phone on future shops at that location. I just remembered that I for $28 for my local burger shop the last time and it's back on my list starting this week, so I guess I should ask for that instead of my previous $25.
A scheduler told me they look at the rate you did the shop last and that is the highest they will go. I said that it could have been part of a route. The single shop might be higher to make it profitable for me.
