Yes second that. I tried the wire money transfer job. I did not get my refund and was given the same mtcn number I received when sending money not a new one as promised. Wasted 2 plus hours trying to get my $25 back. $20 send and transfer fee of $5. I mean shop paid $30 so I made $5 after all said and done. My $25 lost in space.
Did you call the client? Your refund MTCN should be different. And the number is on one of those 8-foot-long receipts you get.@BuffaloNY101 wrote:

The BARE transfer shops, I have a weird relationship with, I did a big ol' cluster of them from roughly March until May and got some nice bonuses along the way. Each time I did them I said "This is the last one" but always got lured back. Even did a few at the 11th hour when a scheduler contacted me in "desperation mode" and met my price. But haven't done one since spring, I may have met my limit. They are tiring.@HonnyBrown wrote:

Any shop that Cirrus has. I don't like chasing payment.

I really like the gas stations with audits, except for the two that have recently added so much work that it is no longer worth the time for money paid.@callinectes wrote:

I NEVER have to chase payment in NV.@HonnyBrown wrote:

Any shop where I have to write any more than a few sentences for the entire report in narrative. I'd rather just take my pictures, write my cryptic notes, and check boxes.

Hoping it's changed with COVID, but the mattress shop where the manager was expected to get on the bed with you was a hard pass after doing one.

I usually enjoy gas stations shops, don't know why but I find them relatively easy and kind of fun. But I recently signed up for one (dual-named brand) for which, after getting the assignment, I discovered the guidelines were 70 PAGES long and the accompanying OSA guidelines were an ADDITIONAL 30 PAGES! Ridiculous. I sent a polite cancellation message back to the scheduler stating that after reviewing the guidelines I felt this shop unfortunately was beyond my abilities. (And it will remain thus, LOL.)

I've just added one. I do a lot of bank inquiry shops, never at base price and usually bonused at around $10 over. There's one I used to do years ago but which disappeared off the boards during the pandemic. They've just re-appeared. Base is $15--won't touch. But at $20, I figured I'd give one a try since it's near home and I had to be in the immediate area anyway. They used to take maybe 20 minutes in-branch and another half-hour or so for the report.
Well, what a waste of time. I was there less than a half-hour, which was fine. But the report? It was as long, detailed, and time-consuming as an account-opening shop. It was ridiculous. I usually spend less than an hour for a $25 inquiry. I must have spent at least an hour on the report itself if not longer. They've added Covid questions and a narrative about them, and I'm sure they've added more questions--with no increase in the fee!
On my 10-ft. pole from now on.
