How many MSC have you applied for?

How many is too much? I have applied for over 30. What is your limit? Do you have any favorite companies?

I recently signed up for A Closer Look, Quest for Best, QACI, Coyle, Measure Consumer Perspectives, Strategic Reflections, Feedback Plus, and I can't rememeber the others. I haven't heard from anyone yet...no email or anything. I just signed up today. Do they take a little time to email you back?

I have been at well over 200 for several years and still sign up for new-to-me companies I hear about. Favorite companies are those that have fair paying jobs in my area and these vary from year to year. In any given year I work for 30-40 companies and all it takes is for my "best" company one year to lose a client and see little or no work for them the following year.

Today is Good Friday so unless acceptance is automated, I would not expect to hear from anybody until Monday. I was surprised because I put in an info request and got an answer back in about 30 minutes from one company. You could have knocked me over with a feather!

Some companies I have signed up with have never gotten back to me at all. Some have sent an automated notice that my application was received. Some have waited years until they had a client in my area to contact and activate me.
I'm signed up with over a hundred... there are a few companies I do most of the work for, but if you don't sign up with a company, you'll never know if they have a job that is just perfect for you.

Yes, I have to sift through a lot of email, but it's worth it for me. I get a lot of offers and then can pick up the ones I really want to do. I have an email address that I use just for mystery shopping, so if I ever need to take a break, I can just not check mail from that address until I'm ready to get back into it.

I have about 50 and actually work for about 30. Want some fresh clients that I know have clients in Kentucky and Indiana. Just for some variety and to fill in shops on routes.

I work for 15 on a regular basis. I am enrolled with 114 last time I counted. I have some companies that I do maybe 2 shops a year for. I do a lot of bank shops on my way to car and apartment shops. It pays for the gas and the reports are so simple.

I signed up for about 80 companies, but I only work for about ten. Some companies don't have shops in my area. I may do one or two for them and not hear for months.
I am signed up with 74 companies and have actually worked for 29. 5 companies account for 62% of my jobs. They are Maritz, Market Force, ath, intellishop, and Informa.
I couldn't tell you the # through the years, I just signed with four new companies and getting decent work from them...have dropped many along the way as well. I'm sure the # would be close to 100, but I work monthly for about 8+, sometimes there is no work like Quest for Best lost there furniture store here (I did it for a few years), since then they have no jobs in L.A..so, things are always changing. Some companies I were with now have an age requirement and others keep me going. I suggest signing with as many as you can, it never hurts.

I honestly don't know how many I am signed up with, but it probably is at least 50, maybe 60. My regulars are Bestmark, Trendsouce, Sinclair, Second to none, AboutFace, marketforce, secret shopper, Reality Check, CORI...........
Im just counted the other day I have listed in my favorite 101 companies. I check them all at least once per month to see if any thing is there.
I'm probably signed up for 50+ companies, and regularly work 15-20. It just depends on who has shops in my area at the time. My most regular companies are Market Force, Maritz, Trend Force, Sinclair, and Second-To-None.
I have about 30 that I signed up for. It's funny! Mystery shopping is like an addiction. You want to sign up for them all. Market Force and CORI are regulars for me but I have also done shops for ACE, Second to None, and Shopper's Critique. All with good experience.....so far!
I've signed up for 52 and done jobs for 30. I routinely do jobs for MFI, STN, ICC/DS, BARE and TrendSource-that's most of my book. I've also done 2-3 jobs for the remaining 25.
I'm signed up with probably right around 200 of them. Many of them do not currently have shops in my area of the country, but I figure as long as I am in their database, if anything ever pops up, I will hopefully be one of the first to know. I have about 20-30 who I shop for regularly throughout the year.

I am looking for good companies to work for in Indiana also Central Indiana
Would you have any names that you might share with me?
Apply to as many companies as you can. By searching this forum you can find out which ones are good and which aren't. I have signed up for 79 companies but only have worked for 29. Even if a company doesn't have jobs in your area today they might haver something tomorrow.
