In my area, (NW So Carolina), there is only one hotel shop listed on their site in my area.
I just completed a hotel shop for them today. And, have another booked for October. Also, I saw 2 others for October on the job board that were near me, but shoppers can only do one per month of this client's shops. I really do not remember if there were more locations farther away from me on the board or in the email alerting me that new shops were being offered for next month.

Is the chain they shop worth visiting? It just seems like a higher end motel:
The one that they are currently shopping is well worth a visit. It is the fast expanding, high-end brand for that hotel family. Lovely, comfy rooms; good food and drink, reasonable report. I have stayed in several and the urban ones tend to also have gorgeous city views, often even a rooftop bar or restaurant. And, the rewards program is one of the best in the industry. A LOT of MSers who do routes use their mid-level hotels, which are much better than most in that class.
Also, their editor is great: concise, pleasant, clear follow-up requests when needed. A pleasure to work with.

Wales when do they normally release those hotel shops? I know what you are talking about and would love to try it but I saw one on the board in a different state.
If a company has any problems, it's most likely due to improper sales management. A company that does not know how to analyze indicators well is at risk of going bankrupt. Various tools are now available that allow grouping and analyzing sales data. Based on this analysis, employees conclude and make decisions about future activities. In my firm, I use deal tracking software. I can surface deals at risk and stalled opportunities before they become unwinnable and get my team to turn them around.

The hotel client that they have in my region has not posted in about a month. I think that they are redesigning the survey.
