Ellis schedulers

Okay.. so who here is working with Ellis?
One of the schedulers had repeatedly taken my emails out of context to reflect the literal opposite of what I write in emails so I started updating via the envelope icon so nothing would be taken out of context. They have also been disrespectful a whole bunch of times. They are clearly disconnected from the shopping world bc they suggested I do several things which would literally put me as a shopper!
Also, they wanna get an attitude when it’s out of my control to get passed around by rental agencies and the target cannot be reached. Many of the communities in my area say you don’t have a choice as to who you tour with and you can’t request. I was told that either target or another would be the one doing the tour by target. I don’t make the rules. I wonder if they even talk to their clients to hear what their policy is especially when you’re told straight up you can’t request people, and you can’t choose who does your tour. I finally decided to write an email just now to formally complain on the scheduler cuz this isn’t right. Another scheduler also took my comments out of context and I feel like they really need to weed these people out that are doing this! Anyone else experiencing this? Thanks. I’m not saying any names on purpose by the way.

Hi Jmo,

I can relate to your frustrations. I'm sure most EPMS shoppers can.

I'm curious, how does using the envelope clarify your emails to the schedulers?

Hi, Honny; how are you? I just realized when I was sending emails there was no way for the client to see them or for the written record to be on my Files. If you click the link envelope next to a shop , it only shows the schedulers comments unless you only reply via the envelope. And dang sorry to hear you can relate. I had a feeling it wasn’t just me. I’m glad I wrote an email complaining against the misinformation and twisting my words by the scheduler now to cover my bases now.
I cancelled my contract with EPMS several years ago when a scheduler, 31 days after submitting my report, claimed I shopped the wrong property.
Wow, I’m so sorry to hear that, Bob! We all deserve better! Seems like they do have schedulers that’s lying on people. It’s so wrong !!! I knew it wasn’t just me. I hope you’re doing better ! ICs deserve better !
EPMS definitely has some bad apple schedulers.

My solution was to go to the corporate website, find the email of EPMS’s VP of Operations* and CC her on correspondence when a scheduler outright lied about an assignment. She is a former shopper and directly oversees the scheduling team. Boom. Problem solved. Got an apology from the scheduler, too, which was good for my soul.

I’ve only done this twice in a dozen years of subcontracting for EPMS over hundreds of assignments. Use sparingly, it’s highly effective.

*No, I’m not going to give you a name or email; if you are motivated enough you can locate this yourself.
Hey, ColoKate! I have a friend with the same name! Hope you’re well! Def! That’s always a good strategy to go to the top so they can actually know what’s going on. I wrote an email in the support but haven’t heard back yet. I know they read these forums though, the scheduler has “magically” started to talk to me with some sense. It is pretty pathetic they lie on people like that. I think updating via the envelope helps too so they can’t lie on me anymore. Even had a scheduler lie about the phone call saying they didn’t say I couldn’t request a specific agent when they did right on the call. Gets old lol
