Just seeing this. This is news to me. Must know more before any thoughts can materialize.

while i’ve never had problems with either company, in fact both are/were quite good to me - it’s disappointing to see the consolidation of MS companies.
IRIS, a mystery shopping company from Pakistan, did not acquire SeeLevel. And I see no ITIS anywhere.

Intouch Insight Ltd made the acquisition.

Doesn't Intouch Insight use the ISecretShop platform?

Wonder if this will consolidate the scheduling of the SeeLevel jobs?
Sorry, ITIS stands for In Touch In Site. They are on the iSecretShop platform.

InTouch is one of my favorite msc, especially after they moved from to the iSS platform. I shop more for inTouch than SeeLevel, so I am happy to see the acquisition.

ITIS has very few shops in my area, but SeeLevel has a lot. I hope I'll see more shops around here with this consolidation, or at least not fewer shops!

The links were added by the OP after I posted my comment. Gotta read the comment and edit times.
In my neck of the words, InTouch Insight offers very few shops, all at crappy fees. I disdain iSecretShop and hope that they keep SeeLevel with Sassie.
Every shop that I have seen migrated to iSecretShop, regardless of MSC, has gotten easier to report than when it was on another platform. I hope that trend continues.

myst4au states--Every shop that I have seen migrated to iSecretShop, regardless of MSC, has gotten easier to report than when it was on another platform. I hope that trend continues.

Bob comments--Only three MSCs with whom I have ever contracted elected to switch to iSecretShop. With each, the reporting became more difficult. That could be the result of the type of shops I completed. As two are no longer in the business and I chose to disassociate from the third, the trend is of no importance to me.
I agree with myst4au. ISS is especially great for photo-intensive shops. I always wonder why more MSCs don't use it.
SeeLevel was made by merger of three MSC. The main core was BeyoundHello.

Shopping Eastern Pennsylvania since 2009
I guess it will be time to scratch out the written words on my folder for the current SeeLevel and former Beyond Hello and maybe some other companies. The front of this folder is getting quite messy. But these consolidations are a way for me to pick up new companies without having to fill in forms and forms.
The funny thing is that I went to some street fair or other several years ago. Maybe a telecom company? was giving out t shirts that said Beyond Hello on them. I grabbed one and shortly thereafter Beyond Hello was gone. I always thought I could wear it if i ever went to a ms conference but Beyond Hello is a fading memory now esp for newer shoppers. Well if you ever go to a conference and see someone wearing a Beyond Hello t shirt say hello Sandy.
I do not care to much. Insight InTouch is my favorite company...

gene, I love their sandwich shops.

For photo-intensive shops, I prefer Shopmetrics. Narrative intensive either Sassie or Shopmetrics. I'd put Clientsmart and Prophet tied in third position and iSS dead last - especially for photo intensive shops given the platform's limitation on file types which may be uploaded.

I do not like it when reporting becomes "easier." It tends to both drive down the fees offered and attract more competitors vying for the shop. It also makes for bored shopper. I relish shops with long narratives from MSCs that pay for them, especially those few which ask not just for the facts but for analysis, opinion, and recommendations too. I dislike those MSCs which demand short narratives - it is always easier to write a five paragraph or a five page summary than a five sentence one.
Great post Rousseau; I could not have stated my position more accurately. I very much look forward to the day when the overwhelming number of shoppers avoid narrative like the plague. My fees requirements, which are already high, will escalate into the stratosphere. After all is said and done, this is STILL business!
What I don't like are the Sassie shops that require long narratives, but the narrative box limits the shopper to a miniscule character count that is not disclosed up front. Then you have to keep going back to figure out what to delete so the 1200-characters required to tell the story can fit into the 200-character maximum allowed. Takes twice as long as such a report would normally take. Aaargh!
I also don't like when the narrative box appears as a one inch slot so you can't see what you've typed until you save the report and reopen it.

Yep, that's just awful. And I have seen the same problem in Shopmetrics too. I don't think I have seen it in Prophet. I have not seen it in Clientsmart. And I do so little in iSS that I just don't remember one way or the other.
