Has anyone received a 1099 from Ispos or Ipsos sassie ?

I cant see anyway on there website of checking for one.

thank you.
*eta* I read on another thread that you are expecting one but have not received it yet. There is still time.

? Only people who earned at least six hundred dollars per year from their work with/for Ipsos would receive that. People who earned less than six hundred dollars via Ipsos will need to report their income but will not submit a 1099 from Ipsos with their submission to the IRS. Is this what you meant?

Why did we get one from IPSOS as they pay thru PayPal? We are getting hit twice on taxes PayPal sends a 1099 as well. Also, they don’t back out so called “reimbursement expenses” so we are taxed on that as well. Luckily we have good records to show what was commissions and expenses that were reimbursed.
I received two from IPSOS INSIGHT today. I assume one is for Sassie and one is for Shopmetrics. I don't expect anything from PayPal this year, but probably next year I will get one from PayPal.

Just spoke with someone from PayPal, the $600 deal applies beginning this year, 2022,. 2021 was the 200 transaction $200, 00 requirement. Therefore, they told me i would not get a 1099 from PayPal for 2021, even though I got paid a lot more than 600.
IPSOS put in writing to not claim the PayPal 1099-k form lol ???? and to claim theirs. Our accountant said it needs to be claimed; Obviously. We just need to back out the reimbursed items. In PayPal if you go into tax documents that’s where you will find the 1099k I don’t think they mail them out. Our transaction were under 200 and under 20k but we still got one. The earnings are over 10k on PayPal but only around 5k between the IPSOS 1099. I’m surprised that Intouch hasn’t sent any out.
Thanks. Because of winter weather, our mail didn't come on Wednesday or yesterday, so I'll have to keep an eye out.

You're not getting hit twice on taxes. Use the 1099 sent by Ipsos. Claim their gross reported as income, and claim your related expenses in total against that income. You don't need to even figure what was reimbursed and what wasn't against each job if you do that.

What is your tax guy telling you you have to claim?

You are correct. My accountant said to ignore Pay Pal since it does not break everything down. Each company is responsible to send out a 1099.
