North Fork

Is this company or the one it transitioned to now gone? I tried a search of this forum but couldn't come up with anything.

As I recall, North Fork changed its name or somehow became something like 'BzzBzzBzz' and when the pandemic set in, that company closed.

Other shoppers will know the exact process and names.

I miss them.

Yea I found some old emails of shops I enjoyed doing for them and I’m wondering who those franchises went with, if anyone…
Having never heard of BzzAgent, I accessed their page to possibly determine if they were a bottom payer. There was a link to an example of what was sought in a report, which took me to an Oriental porn site; another attempt produced an identical result. Please comment on the work:pay ratio.
I completed one type of assignment for BzzAgent. I always received the bonus and the assignments made my road trips, which also included other assignments, worthwhile. The scheduler was always wonderful.

Bottom line for me: a good situation.

I never worked for it under their new name. But, back when their name was North Fork, I found the work minimal and the pay, when bonused, fair but not great.

The link works fine with me. Bob, it appears that the internet gremlins want to give you a hard time.

That was their mystery shopping page but when you try to click login it gives you an error so I don't think they're doing mystery shopping anymore. I think they're more product testing and influencer if they're still doing that.

This is a link to their current page: [www.bzzagent.com] which will load without errors. The link goes to a page that explains that they now send items to people who review them for free. That is not what I want to do. Another MSC bites the dust.

Shopping Southeast Pennsylvania, Delaware above the canal, and South Jersey since 2008
They were a good msc with easy shops for fair to good pay. They will be missed.

Shopping Western NY, Northeast and Central PA, and parts of Ohio and West Virginia. Have car will travel anywhere if the monies right.

I might check out the new [www.bzzagent.com]. It is definitely not mystery shopping, but a certain number of product reviews do tend to come through the various shopping companies. I'd be interested in some product lines, assuming they actually wanted honest reviews. Such can end up being very labor intensive though, so it is to be seen as to whether or not they are worth the effort. It is clear that the ones that come through the MSCs want a plug, and I have regretted jumping into some of them, meaning I think hard as to what I am dealing with and what I want my name associated with. Most of these are really wanting social media influencers, and there is no anonymity whatsoever with that. Lessons learned for sure.

The link works but the company is no longer active as shown when you hit “Join”
That's what I just discovered, also. There are two links to sign up, and each one gives you this message:

The Shopper signup page for this company is no longer active.

And then when you look at the FAQ page at the question that asks, "How do I sign in to my shop log?", there is a statement that says, "Click here to log in". But when I do, I get a page that says this:

Warning: require(/home/surfmer/www/custom/2iccds/configs/config.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/surfmer/sassiecore_a/2templatedirectory/helpers/config.php on line 12

Fatal error: require(): Failed opening required '/home/surfmer/www/custom/2iccds/configs/config.php' (include_path='.:/usr/share/pear:/usr/share/php') in /home/surfmer/sassiecore_a/2templatedirectory/helpers/config.php on line 12

So I wonder if Covid got them, too.
I wonder about the companies that made it through Covid but no longer have someone shopping their locations. You would think now's the time to get a true measure of how they're going to rebound from this and make sure all their ducks are in a row.
I miss their Home Improvement store and grocery shops in the Upstate NY area. I just can't find anyone who has picked them up. I believe the grocery chain was purchased by one I currently do shops for. They haven't rebranded and I can't find the shops that North Fork used to have.

I’m wondering who picked up Applebee’s and Cheesecake Factory!

Applebee's is shopped for a reveal type shop.

CF I haven't seen in awhile.
