I take that back, I just tried to go to the site again and this time I couldn't login either.
I just attempted and although the IE browse filled in my password and I selected my user name from the drop down, I also got "Invalid user name or password" Obviously the site is having issues.
Thanks. I've got several to enter; the hour is late; and their site is glitching. I've also got early AM obligations tomorrow, and will not burn the midnight oil due to their technical difficulties.

This MSP has never played hardball with me. But, you know what? In the event an MSP would, it would be nice to refer them to shoppers' posted experiencessmiling smiley
I also love doing the Medicare shops. However, as I mentioned in another thread, I'm now running into the problem of no more agents I haven't already shopped. Hope they get some "new blood" by open enrollment time in October. Since I'm jut about age 65, these are very informative for me.
An addition to my earlier post. Scheduled for a Medicare shop this morning with an agent I hadn't done yet. However, when I got there, it turned out that his agent partnered with another one. Yep, you guessed it - I'd already shopped her. Notified scheduler and they're going to pay me anyway. I've had nothing but good experiences with Second to None.
I work for STN and have had no problems. My only problem is they don't pay much.
I just emailed and asked about the $20 pay on Medicare Formal events. They answered back that the Formal and Informal events both now pay 20.00 rather than the 25.00 last yr. I thought they paid 30.00 but it must have been another msc. I cannot do it for $20 as its too much work with the report.
Apparently they're trying a new report format where you enter answers in a spreadsheet and email it to the scheduler. The one I signed up for the other day paid $30. I'll get the payment. However, because I'd already shopped one of the agents, I didn't get a chance to try out the new format.
While the pay may not be so great, I think these people really live up to their name. They really are second to none.
I realize shoppers have varied reasons for being in this business; mine's money. Therefore, it's my opinion Second to None is far behind several other MSCs in the all important pay dept.
I have to agree...I just made $30.00 for same Healthcare job they pay 20.00 for.....and find their pay just too low for amount of work.

Live consciously....
I quit them after they asked me to give a description of myself, THEN my shop was rejected.

Could you explain how this went down? Sounds unusual.
Well there was confusion to the time on my receipt and report. Then apparently I did not stay on the electronics department long enough. I was then asked if I was on my cell phone. Client identifies me as a mystery shopper. Why am I being asked all of this a MONTH after I did the shop?

I donnot get it either. Sorry.
It may be a month later because it takes that long to get from the MSC through corporate headquarters to trickle down to the to actual store. They will then go through their security tape and trying to figure out who you are.

How did the client identify you as a mystery shopper?
When I first started MSing I did some grocery store shops for STN. I had a shop rejected because I indicated on the report that I did not see a kiosk, just shelves. They told me it was a kiosk and I responded that it just looked like shelves and that I was just being honest, They refused to pay me...so I stopped working for them. One of the great things about being a MSper is that I get to choose who I work for. Now I am hearing about all these great Medicare and healthcare shops and wondering if I should go back. Can someone who does these shops contact me. I would love to find out if they have these shops in my area before I reapply. Thanks!

I went two rounds with STN regarding whether or not there was a kiosk. Justice prevailedsmiling smiley

I'm guessing by your comments that you deactivated yourself. I can tell you that STN has the health care shops in my area, again this year.
yes, I deactivated myself. Justice did not prevail! They didn't exactly suggest that I had lied, but rather that I should not take it upon myself to define a kiosk. Since they had mentioned that not all stores have these kiosks, and that there might be a question or two to test a shopper's honesty (I can't remember exactly what they said after all this time) I figured this was a trick question. I explained my NO answer in the comments section--IF I remember correctly (again, it's been a while). I think these shops paid $8 plus a small reimbursement. The grocery store is VERY expensive so the $4 doesn't get you much. I figured, life is too short.
I can tell you this much about the healthcare shops, compared to others the pay is terrible. For them it's only $20 and a PITA report while others I've done are anywhere from $30 to $50 and the report takes 1/2 the time.

Equal rights for others does not mean fewer rights for you. It's not pie.

Yes, I found their healthcare shops a PITA the first time I did one until I realized that if your product discussed was A, you did not need to deal with the questions about B, C and D. After that, they made more sense and took a lot less time. I was frankly surprised that they had used a one-size-fits-all form that was so clunky.
I was not told exactly how I was identified, I was told that the client could tell by my actions.
The Medicarer shops last year paid $25.00 for a formal and $15.00 for a kiosk and this year it's $20.00 for both formal and kiosk. I have done 1 sofar and will do another tomorrow. I tried to sign up with a particular agent ,but it came back saying I can't shjop him again as I already did that agent.

Not sure if this question is OK or not but interested to know other MSCs that are doing them. STN kiosk shops I find pleasant and an easy $20.

Wellhad you shopped the agent or not? You can only shop them once which I think is reasonable because they will remember.

I didn't realize they had dropped the fee on the seminar. The kiosk shops (or as I like to call them, drive-bys) are great. Never had one take more than about 15 minutes!
