Mine either I emailed them and of course it's never there fault they blamed it on the bank. If pay day is the 20th for direct deposit I expect my pay check to be there. I know that my granddaughter has already got her paper check. Always an excuse at Market force anymore.
Would be funny if the shoppers held the MSC to the same standard they expect. They should have 8 hours to pay or risk losing shoppers!

Too bad shoppers can't hold out and hose them as a group. I'm not advocating for unions, but if we could get a huge amount of shoppers to target one company (doesn't matter which one we started with) and not take any assignments for a week or two weeks...that might cause them to panic. I'm sure the industry would notice and realize they better get their act together. However, its always a race to the bottom and they know the willpower to hold out on the shopper side of things is much weaker than the MSC ability to hold out.

Watch it BigDaddy, you're a union organizer and might get whacked! LOL.

I agree that shoppers are at the mercy of the MSCs. As they get larger, AKA Ipsos, they listen to us less.

I'll wait for my payments, but I don't like to chase them. If it's a day or two late, I don't panic. It seems many on the board do.
yes, many waste time worrying about the big msc and a day or 2 late with payments. i get they should honor when they say they will pay, but if they are established and large, the likelihood they are going under is not very likely. But not everyone is in the same financial situation where they can afford to wait it out and they are probably stretched thin.

I'm glad i'm not in that predicament and can afford to wait, but it's nice to see some companies have sped up their payments over the years. I remember Service Sleuth being 60-90 day reimbursement window. That was awful.

I was going to rant about unions and typed out a big response,...but figured I didn't want to spark another whole controversy. Just wish some people would see that they don't have to grab when immediately posted. Some shops have been posted long enough that people should see a pattern in fee increases as the month goes along, but they still grab early. Makes no sense to me.

Uh, I'm not "panicking," I was just wondering if anyone else was experiencing late payment.
Payment was in my bank account this morning. The reply to the email I sent them yesterday inquiring about the late payment blamed the bank and stated payment should be received on Friday.
This company is making it easy to "hold out" as several others are paying so quickly now, and last month some shops were paid 6 weeks after completion with this company due to their delay.

MSC's don't have to answer to anyone as the industry is largely unregulated. they should be forced to pay at least minimum wage equivalent but they skirt that with the contractor BS. It's annoying and I hope one day it gets resolved. There are a handful of them out there that pay fair, but that doesn't excuse the rest of industry.
