Ipsos Pet Peeves

Okay so every MSC that uses Sassie can get the e-mails to list the states in alphabetical order EXCEPT the schedulers for Ipsos. I know this has been discussed before and I know how to find my state etc. etc. But wouldn't it be nice if they could figure it out.

Secondly, I had two highly bonused shops that I planned a route around and they cancelled both of them the day before which made my route a total loss if I were to do it. I got several flake citations with other MSCs because of this.

Today I get an e-mail at 3:14 EST stating "Shopper Pay: $20.00 Last Day 2/23/22".

Can't they see these things creeping up to the last day. I mean even if the scheduler was on the West Coast, they could have at least sent the e-mail by 12 EST.

My guess is if they weren't filled before, they weren't done today because shoppers have realized the shop is more involved than the base pay justifies and probably the bonus isn't sufficient to complete the shop either.

Sorry for the rant, but Ipsos really needs to wake up.

I've noticed that about the shop listings by state. It's not a big deal to scroll down to find my state.

I haven't done the gas stations since they left Maritz and the bonuses went away. It doesn't seem like they are treating shoppers very well with these last minute cancellations. People are still going to take the shops. They know this.

My board has two pages that are mainly red. Just to find current jobs, I have to scroll over two pages. So yes, they need to pay attention. I wished they would remove all the expired jobs. It would make it easier for us to find jobs to complete.

Shopping Arkansas, Louisiana, & Mississippi.

That sounds like what I see on their Shopmetrics website.

I got another "last day" e-mail today, but at least I received it at 8:14 AM EST.
Ipsos is not the only one that gets them out of order. Occasionally See Level will have them out of order. Not all the time, but occasionally. What bothers me more is the schedulers who blast a posting to all 50 states for 1 or 2 shops in some backwoods area. Occasionally, I'll crack back and ask if they pay for my flights. People in California are not looking for shops in Kentucky, Wisconsin or somewhere else (especially in the winter). When I plan on traveling, I will go look for some shops to do in the places I'm visiting, but shoppers do not need to be notified in other states for work that is not really going to be filled the mass audience they are sending it to.
Exactly! If I'm traveling and want to shop where I'm going, I'll search the job boards for that zip code.
I was in CA, born and raised there, but left 6 years ago. It took a full 2 years for the MSC's that I normally work for to stop sending me special requests or calling me to do shops in Riverside and San Bernardino, CA. lol. 6 years later, some of the companies that I haven't worked for since I left, and some work for rarely still send emails asking if they can give me a bonus to go to another part of CA to do a job for them.. lol I'm in AL now, I've replied to emails with the price of the air fare and rental car, in addition to the pay I'm willing to accept to do the job. I've had a couple of the schedulers reply back and joke with me about how many dogs would get wings before that would happen. lol
