So many things changed with covid-- including suddenly becoming unable to shop due to reported contact with someone infected.
I recall they made a change on one specific group of shops, where instead of one day to perform the shop, we had almost the whole week. The project manager sent an email about it, a few months ago. (If you started these shops after that email went out, you might not know this.)
So they would list the date you applied for, or the earliest day to shop, but it would not be due for several days. We still had to report within a certain number of hours once the shop was done.
Probably to keep from having to reschedule zillions of shops everyday, with a shortage of shoppers AND schedulers.
