Sinclair Shops

I am new to this company and they have some shops in my area. It doesn't appear that you can see shop details before accepting a shop. What happens when you click I'm Interested? Are you automatically assigned?

I have done dozens of shops for this MSC. As with every other MSC it is just good practice to read the guidelines IMMEDIATELY upon getting assigned a shop. That way, you can withdraw immediately if you cannot meet those requirements or immediately ask for clarification, in writing, if you feel that the guidelines are vague, inconsistent or unclear in any manner. In addition, if you really need to ask for a later shop date, be careful to ask, in writing and nicely. ("Please" and "thank you" will go a long way in maintaining good scheduler relations, btw.)

Based in MD, near DC
Shopping from the Carolinas to New York
Have video cam; will travel

Poor customer service? Don't get mad; get video.
I wish I could like this 10 times! What a great post!

Their schedulers were nice when I worked with them. I wouldn’t do their credit shops. But maybe they’ll bonus them.
I also have done numerous shops for this MSC. I have found them to be responsive and professional.
I've only done 1 client for this MSC. I never had a problem with this MSC. They paid on time. They were a little "tighter" with bonuses. They mailed checks. The website was on the "hokie" side when compared to some of the better ones. No complaints about them. They lost the 1 client I shopped for them (pizza).
Sinclair is not a good company to work for. I recently had a shop where they mailed me something in advance of the shop and then notified me that they sent the wrong package out. They asked me to go to the PO and mail it back to them and then wait for the correct package and complete the shop. I asked for a bonus for my time, gas, etc due to their mistake and they declined. Needless to say, but I threw their original package in the trash and deactivated my account with them.
That is pretty funny. They should have added at least $5 pay. So now they lost the materials they wanted back and lost a shopper in the process all over $5 or maybe $10 in pay.
