IPSOS Shopmetrics - ShopID

Where do you get this? I completed a shop for them. It was approved. I logged in a couple days later and there's no record of it or payment. I messaged them, they got right back to me asking for the shop ID. I told them I didn't have it but gave them all of the info from the assignment email (location, date, pay). Radio silence.

Is it the InstanceID in the SurveyWorksheetView url? I do have that saved but everything was online and none of the printed materials I have are specific to the shop, so no shop ID.

When you accepted the shop, you should have received an email that confirmed it was assigned to you. That email would show the shop I.D., so would the additional email they send to remind you of your upcoming shop before the due date. Also, you mentioned it was approved. Do you know this from an email correspondence? If so, was it from an editor in particular or was it from the general email they use with no one identified? If the first, you could reach out to that editor, if the latter, you can do the same, but it usually takes 2-3 days for someone to respond.
Both shopmetrics and sassie have shop ID. It's the unique shop # for that assignment. As a shopper, you should be keeping track of this. How else will you be able to track your payments and what has been paid and what has not?

Even shops on ISS platform have unique shop #.

I've never had to go back and research a shop # because I put it in my excel spreadsheet when it got assigned or when I started filling out the report. Maybe someone else knows how to search for it in shopmetrics, but I don't and I'm not going to try and figure it out because I do not need to. I do agree, SASSIE is a better platform for this because your completed shops are in your shop log.

I received an email from them with a subject stating that I had been assigned. There is no shopID in the email at all, only the survey's local, what I assume is the type/round of survey, address, due date, pay rate, etc.
I logged in and saw that it was assigned to me.
They did not send a reminder. I do get them from other MSCs for their shops.
This shop was due (and completed) the next day. It was my first with this company in about a decade.

Neither. I logged in a few hours after completing the survey and saw that it had been accepted and there were no other steps to take on it.

I guess I'll wait a day or two for a reply but also send an email to the scheduler. Thanks for your reply.

Hindsight...

The assignment emails confirm my expected pay. Other MSC's send me invoices. I download all of the available shop material into a new folder for each shop.

First time doing a shop with this company in about a decade. Lesson learned.

It would be as simple as confirming that the InstanceID on the SurveyWorksheetView url is the same number as the shopID, but alas, you don't need to.

@purpleicee @hbbigdaddy I am in the same boat with @MissToryShopper. I did a few jobs with Shopmetrics recently for this pay period. In the pay area, I saw them updated from pending review to approve to pay. Now, those jobs are no longer listed in that area and they are not in the Pay Statements area. I figured those jobs were pushed to Pay Statements since the statement period ended on the 25th (guessing here, don't know for sure).

The other jobs I have done for Shopmetrics prior to this pay period now appear in the pay statements.

Does anyone know when the most recent date that the Shopmetrics statement went out?

I searched my email by the client name and nothing pops up. I did not receive an email that any were approved, Do you receive emails like that? I just know they were good for payment from periodically checking the status of the jobs.

Log in on Ipsos' Shopmetrics site.
Click on the three bars in the upper left corner.
Select My Pay.
Select the appropriate pay statement by looking at the Lock Dates. Click to download.
Open the statement. The Survey ID is listed for each shop.

Good luck.

Edited to add: If the shop is not listed under My Jobs or My Pay, then you can forward Ipsos a copy of the "Good News: You’ve been Assigned a New Task" email you received when you were assigned the shop. There is, unfortunately, no survey ID in that email. Did you save a copy of the report?

I did forward it to them in my first query. They responded asking for the shop ID.

I did not save it. It was an online form and approved very quickly. I am not sure if I had the option after it was approved. Lesson learned. But... I am expecting to be paid still smiling smiley

Maybe due to the recent timing of your shops, they have been pulled to be prepared for dropping into both the payment and statement categories? You might see something later this morning, as it is Tuesday now. Below was how it reads on their site, I was focusing on the first sentence, thinking that process may cause them to disappear as they move them to the next step:

Each pay cycle executes weekly on Tuesday and payments are processed to shopper PayPal accounts every Friday. You will see payment for a completed task hit your PayPal account 7-10 days* after your survey was submitted and approved by our quality control team. We only pay through PayPal, so make sure that your PayPal email address matches the one you have registered with us.
* We strive to process your payments as quickly as possible. Please note, PayPal takes 2-3 business days to process funds. Rest easy knowing we'll submit the funds – but we can't control PayPal.

I don't perform enough shops for IPSOS on their Shopmetrics platform to know whether the Instance ID and the Shop ID are the same number, and I am not even sure where to look to find the Instance ID. The statements for my completed shops contain 7 digits for the "Survey ID" (if your instance ID # is 7 digits, then I would *think* that the numbers are the same).
The shops I have performed on the Shopmetrics platform disappear after they are approved while they are being processed for payment. They reappear on a pay statement when payroll is processed. I hope this is what has happened in your case. Karen Holland (@KarenSchedulesForIpsos) has been a helpful resource in the forums - you could try sending her a message if your questions aren't getting resolved. Good luck smiling smiley

The only time I ever receive an email after completing a shop on the Shopmetrics platform is if an editor has a question. I check periodically also to see if the shops are approved (which ends up being multiple times per day in my case because I'm a worry wart).
I have the feeling that since both your shops and @Miss Tori Shopper's shops disappeared around the same time, they are probably being processed for pay and will pop back up on statements in a day or two. Keep us updated! grinning smiley
The same thing happened to me. I saw that my shop was being processed and when I logged into Shopmetrics on Sunday, it had disappeared. No pay statement yet, but also no longer pending. Just gone. I emailed my scheduler, Dawn, and she wrote back:

"This is an issue that Ipsos is working on. When payments are being processed, the locations disappear. Once it has gone through, it will appear in your pay statements. Your payment should be received during the next payment cycle."

I also did not save a copy of my report, unfortunately, which means I don't have the shop ID # either. I usually do save the report when on my laptop, by selecting all of it and printing to PDF before submitting it - but I did this one on my phone while I was out between shops and was in a bit of a rush to get to my next one, so I forgot. Therefore, I am just keeping my fingers crossed that the information wasn't lost and that, hopefully, the disappearing shops will show up later today (Tuesday) in our pay statements.

I've found that lately the shops I'm paid for on Tuesday don't show up on the pay statements until after I received the payment or the next day or so. You will probably be paid for the shop today and it will reappear on the pay statement after that. I have to use my own spread sheet to figure out which shops they are paying before I get it as they disappear from their list of approved shops.

@Miss Tori Shopper I received my payment today. Notice came through earlier this hour. Those jobs appear in my new Pay Statement.

Same here. All is well. I guess I had never previously logged in during the interim period in which they process payments and the shops disappear from view.

Thank you! Nice scheduler. Mine responded today saying "Please wait a reasonable about of time before asking for payment." Perhaps they are unaware of the issue? They have been there for years.

I also got paid today. Now we all know how it works smiling smiley No worries. Just part of the picking up a new MSC learning curve. Have a great week all
