Just generally speaking, f you can view the report after it's done, go to "File" on your toolbar, click "Save Page As" and name the file.

ICCDS is a weird animal. Without tricks, the completed shop will only save the questions.
I've done tons of shops for them and have never had to have a backup copy. Knock on wood, of course.
"Save page as" won't save the data you type in the form. However, if a site lets you view a summary after you complete the form, before you submit it (think MarketForce, I believe), then it will work.

The PDF applications people are talking about work just like printing. I use the free program BullZip, myself. Whatever the program, when you install it, it creates a virtual "printer" you'll see in the Printers drop-down after you click File > Print. You'll be prompted to name the file and tell it where you want to save it.

You can save anything to PDF this way, from any program, with the same ease as printing.

Yes, it will. Not with ICCDS, but with those companies for whom you can see the report after it's submitted, using reporting systems like Sassie, Apollo, etc. On your home page, there is an option to view the report, before the editor has reviewed it.

I just tried to call 1-800-444-1717 the number Belinda gave me and 1-800-631-1617, then tried calling the 888 instead of the 800 with no luck. Disconnected or out of service. 1-888-444-1717 is a number for people to talk to other adults. This is driving me nuts!

Oops, I realized you were confirming what I wrote. Sorry, when I initially read it, it seemed like you were disputing it.

I save a lot of reports, but not all. The other thing I sometimes do, when I think I might need to save a valuable piece of information, is take a screenshot. That won't save the entire report but it WILL save the data you see on the screen after it's typed. On a Mac, the command is "Shift, Command, 3". It's been so long since I did it on a PC that I can't remember, but I'm sure someone will be able to supply the information.

PCs usually have a separate "Print Screen button, usually at the top of the keyboard somewhere.
No worries, Nicely! smiling smiley

By the way, if you ever have a need to convert text from a print screen or part of a PDF file to text, this is a nifty site: [www.onlineocr.net]

Also there are browser extensions which will take a screen shot of an entire webpage, automatically stitching the visible sections together into one image. I use Awesome Screenshot for Chrome: [chrome.google.com] There are others available for other browsers, though. They can really come in handy on those loooong forms if you prefer to save an image rather than print to PDF.

Marti (mmcgoldrick):

do you seriously believe that we should take your company seriously when you offer $12 for all this:

'You must spend 30 minutes in the store. You must interact with an associate, express interest in an item and use the fitting rooms. A purchase is required. You have the option to keep the item or return it at a later time. There is no purchase reimbursement for this assignment'. and I guess you conveniently forgot the detailed report.
Hello Anakin,
I see these instructions are for a purchase and return mystery shop. Although we do conduct some mystery shops that require a purchase (and return if you so choose), we do offer a variety of mystery shops where there is a reimbursement or no purchase is required at all. Hopefully, we will have one in the future that meets your needs. Thank you for the feedback and enjoy your day.
Marti
Marti: Thanks for the response. Perhaps when the terms are attractive we may do business together.
I've done a few shops foro ICCDS and think their pay is reasonable. $10 for an easy shop. I like how they ask in their survey "Was this an easy shop?"

I just wish we didn't have to print out the invoice, attach the receipt and email it.

I agree! In this day and age of electronic signatures, it's silly.

Right. I don't think we should have to print out the invoice. However, I just sign it, attach the receipt and scan it all. Then I email the scan. At least they figured out a decent way to do photos so we no longer have to email those. Now, to get around printing the invoice.....
All I can say, is I have never had a bad report or a late payment from them. Had a hard time with completing a shop that was due on Saturday due to a question that I needed a responce from. The phone lines were down due to the hurricane they had, but finally got in touch with them today. Belinda was so kind enough to let me due the shop today. She understood my situation and that they could not get in touch with me during the storm. We talked for a few about the hurricane so keep them in your prayers. As if anyone who lives in the Gulf knows how devistating it can be. IVAN victim!
Thank You,
ICCDS
P.S.
PHONE LINES ARE OPEN
OOOP's Forgot to let you know, I still can not scan, lord knows why, but silly me finally came up and decided to check the back of the printer. A cord was not pluged in correctly. Feel like a DA! Got the invoice, TG, printed it out, signed it, attached a copy of the receipt and will be faxing it over tommorow. I don't know what would have happened if I could not print out the signed aggrement. Any Ideas?
Thanks Charlene! If you hadn't been able to print out the signed invoice, I ususally recommend that shoppers go to a local library or a friends house and try to access a printer that way. I'm so glad you figured out the problem though...no worries about the cord not being plugged in properly...things like that happen to all of us one time or another :-)

This is so true. My printer needs to go to the doctor!
Thanks Marti. Hope you and your family did o.k. during
the storm.
Thanks Charlene! Fortunately, we were okay and did not have any flooding in my home. I appreciate the well wishes. Enjoy your day!

That is wonderful news! Enjoy your day too.
Just got my various paypal payments announced today. Under 30 days and I have never had a problem. I appreciate that a scheduler or rep is reading and checking in. Not many do.
I've only done a few for ICCDS. I'm a little confused by their practices. I print the form, tape the receipt to it, scan it and then email it to them? What an inconvenience.
Hello Phoebe,
The report itslef is completed online once you have completed the mystery shop or audit. When you click the "Submit" button at the end of your online report, an invoice will appear on the screen. The invoice needs to be printed. With a copy of the receipt attached, the invoice needs to be submitted to us via e-mail, fax, or regular mail so we can pay you for the shop/audit. Hope this helps clarify.
Enjoy your day!
Marti
The last shop I did, I did not want to attach the original receipt to the invoice as I was afraid it might rip or perhaps get jammed when I faxed it over as I am planning on returning the item I purchaced. I made a copy of the receipt and had it faxed with all the information on it along with the invoice as page 1 of 2. Hope I'm not in trouble.
You were correct to submit a copy of the receipt. We always suggest keeping either the original receipt (if you want to return the item) or a copy of your receipt for your records. It sounds like you are all set :-)

That's a load off my mind!
Thanks Marti
Charlene, I do what you do. Some shop fees alone are just not worth it. But if there's no restriction against returning the required purchase, the amount of reimbursement plus the fee makes it worth it. Of course, the return shop takes time and gas, so it needs to be in a location that I drive by anyway. I go in, return the item, leave. No return portion to write up. I receive fee plus reimbursement, making it worthwhile.

I have noticed over the years that some MSPs have removed any restriction to return the merchandise. To me, this indicates their understanding, and blessing. Not that I really needed it, as my purchases are to do with as I see fit. Just saying, they leave the door open.

I don't take purchase/return shops requiring a high dollar purchase. I realize that associates make commissions, and hope for their sales to be final.
