I like Ipsos just fine. But this surely is a dark cloud. I am very wary of which companies I do and do not pull out my wallet for. Also, no matter the company, I flat don't do it for schedulers who play games, don't answer emails, and dole out "1s" for shops that are rejected but would have been absolutely fine if they too had done their job and responded to emails and/or shopper site forms about various and sundry unclear guidelines and anomalous situations with a shop location.
I've also had emails asking me to pay a chunk of change up front and then threatening me with a list of whatevers that will lead to the shop being rejected, and I not only will not be paid, but I will not be reimbursed for whatever the shop cost was and sometimes that is not leaving me with a thing to show in my hand, like not even a hamburger, all while they are offering me $5 or $10 for both my effort and the use (loan) of my money in running their business. Nope, I'm not going to do it.
Yes, there have been times when I felt like some of these folks were just ready to pull a con on the shoppers. I never felt that with Ipsos though. I am sorry to hear such, but hearing of these things is one of the absolute most valuable things about this forum. I sure do want to know such.
How many legs does a dog have if you call the tail a leg?
"Four. Calling a tail a leg doesn't make it a leg."
