Confero grocery shops

There are quite a few of these available in my rural area. They are paying $10 with a $10 reimbursement. I have worked grocery stores in the past but not for this company.

How many departments do you have to shop? In the past, I have worked for a company where I only had to be in the store for 15 minutes and shop 3 departments. Can someone give me the requirements for the shops with this company, please.

Hmmm, in my area they're $10-$12 fee with $25 reimburse, must be a different client. You have to look over the parking lot, cart corrals and entrance, ask a question at the deli counter, ask another question at the meat counter, and generally give the whole interior a once-over. Supposed to get the names of the deli person, meat person and cashier if possible, physical description if they're not wearing tags (which, in my area, they never are). Supposed to be in store for a minimum of 20 minutes.
If you're talking about the Southeast regional client. You've got to visit the produce, meat department, bakery, deli, and look for someone in the aisles. It's not terrible but it is more work than I'd like for $10. But I do shop this client because there's a few things they carry that the other stores in town don't. The report for it is a little bit repetitive.

Plus report on the checkout/cashier/bagger experience as well.
Those are the ones in my area as well. Except that lately, they've all been bonused! I just picked two more to do next week. Bonused $7.00 on top of the regular $10.00 fee. And very close to my home! I always need something! And they seem to have the best cube steak around!

Thank you, I think I will assign myself one shop to see how it goes. I can then decide if I want to keep working them.
I use these shops as a filler if I'm in a particular area and want more work there. I found it to be pretty simple after a while but to get started open up a notepad type app on your cell phone and take notes when you go to check the restroom. When I first started doing these shops I was afraid I would forget something so in my notepad app I wrote notes for myself to remember what to look for.
^^^^^^ Good idea! ^^^^^^ I'm an old-timey, grey haired lady who prefers to make a shopping list on paper in one of those 70-sheet spiral notebooks. I have my grocery list on the front page, and I just surreptitiously turn the page over and check my notes of what to do and where to check while I'm in the store. Works for me. But taking notes in an app is a great idea for those who use their phones without effort.

Guysmom, I'm an old timey gray haired lady too. I will admit that I occasionally get some help from Miss Clairol LOL.

Technology wise I've made major strides since I started mystery shopping back in 1997. Back then I had to find constructive ways to take notes like you mentioned and I printed the full, blank shop reports and guidelines incessantly.

Today I print very little, only the first page of each shop that gives me the details of the locations name, it's address, the fees etc. I do that so I will have something to staple the proof of visit or receipt to before I file it. I use the RouteXL app on my phone to plan my route for the day, saving gas and driving time. But I think the biggest improvement is that now I can go out with seven or eight jobs (sometimes more) on my clipboard for the day and with the survey open on my phone I input the information as I go, saving it every 10 to 15 minutes. By the time I get back to the car I usually only have the narrative left to write if the shop requires one and I submit it before I go on to the next shop.

By the time I get home all of my reports are already submitted and I don't have to worry about trying to remember things from earlier in the day or refer to notes that I took along my route. The process works for me. At the end of the day all I have to do is staple my receipts or POV to that first page of the report that I printed and then log it as being complete to await payment.
Can confirm these shops are fairly quick, easy and simple. I spent about 10 mins per stop. I do roughly 3-4 every other day we'll over what the stated limit. Think I burning out. smiling smiley

A Dad shopping the Ark-LA-Tex and beyond.
