Help me interpret this Ipsos Email

Hi- I am a scheduler - I have no input at all on the guidelines or any scenarios that the clients choose. I could have written a longer email message saying exactly the same thing, but worded with more words. The guidelines have changed, so starting tomorrow those are the ones we follow. I just tend to be direct, but didn't think there were questions that weren't answered. Thinking back what I should have said to the shopper is that the guidelines have changed, and if you aren't comfortable with them, as an independent contractor, you have every right of course, not to accept these shops. But to me they both seem to say the same thing, so I went for quick to move on.

The guidelines for this shop are lame. Go easy on Karen. I appreciate that she consistently responds in a timely manner. I dealt with someone else for that shop recently. The question got kicked up to the PM. I can't remember if I even got a response. I figured the best way for me to respond and submit before I waited for a complete response.
I think the new instructions are that you don't have to do the return. I guess you get to keep the stuff you paid for that you don't want.

I appreciate your position. My suggestion (to you) is that the phrase "No to both" or "These are the rules for now." would be fewer characters while demonstrating you'd read me. With the answer I got I genuinely thought it was a mistake intended for someone who asked when the rules take effect.

Appreciated. There is a change in the new guidelines that matches a suggestion I made earlier so I know changes happen. I'm just torn between wasting your time vs going over your head.
Well feel free to go over my head if you feel better served that way - but those types of emails sometimes get lost in the shuffle of getting them to the correct person. Whatever works best and gets you the results that you need.

Well I also have to say that I have a couple of shopper questions for this project that I haven't been able to get answers to yet - so still seeking clarification - so we all just do the best we can for the time being.
